5 weeks!

Been so busy with the holidays and my son's accident that I haven't got back here. Went to two holiday parties with folks I haven't seen for awhile and got so many positive comments- 'you look so rested' , 'you have lost weight' etc. More feeling in my chin now and under it, a lot of tightness at night. Eyes get tired/ tight if I am up too late but am driving everywhere. Best of all back to shooting wildlife and surfing, even did some belly shooting the other day! Watching it with the sun though, shoot early mornings and late afternoons. This shot Christmas morning all glammed up before seeing relatives I hadn't seen in years....

Wonderful experience! This surgeon is an Artist with a capital A. His staff is like family together and they treat me like I am too. I called his office at 2am on Day 3 with blood pressure/anxiety issues, he called back in less than 5 minutes. He was voted one of top12 Bay Area Plastic surgeons for 2016 in San Francisco Magazine... He loves what he does and what he can do for you and it shows!

Congrats!
thanks a lot!
You look so young !!! Amazing work done by the surgeon. It has at least taken 20+ years off !! Lucky lady. All the best
Agreed! You look at least 20 years younger!
Thank you for posting these updates, so glad you are back to your creative expression, how are you feeling about your refreshed look and the whole process. I have been sitting on the fence for just soooo long....
Now that was a remarkable difference. Just lovely. You got such great results and how can anyone who knew you not see that you look like 20 yrs. younger. I mean, come on, they have to see that incredible difference. But then again, who wants them to know anyway.
You look 20 years younger; no joke! Good for you!

Day 12

Swelling coming down but need rest of the eye and ear stitches out still. Today another friend comes for lunch to see the big 'Reveal". Fun! Because of my nausea for the 1st 3 days and the queasy stomach/ chin implant limitations, I lost 10 lbs! I wake up at 2am starving because I still can only eat small meals. Am lucky to have so many friends and family supporting me for the past 2 weeks, it has made things so much easier. My good friend and my primary caregiver Pat made a wonderful Turkey/ stuffing/ gravy for the holiday and my son a sweet potato dish and we had a lovely dinner that I was mostly able to eat! Hang in there everyone!

So excited for you!!
Hi, wondering how things are going now.
Can't wait to see more pics if you can share! Already looks amazing !
Looking forward to updates!
Hi Mickie,
Haven't posted in awhile. My son who is 27 crashed his motorcycle and had to have hand surgery last week- all will be ok but have been very worried. As far as my face/ neck goes, I am very happy. Last doc appointment on Friday was very good, doc said I was healing very well. Have to get my pics from my IPAD loaded onto my PC.... My eyesight is now very good, am driving everywhere. My neck and chin get tight in the afternoon/ evening. Sometimes I take a pain med if it gets too uncomfortable but mostly manageable. I am amazed how things have progressed in 4 weeks!
So sorry about your son. Hand surgery is tough. Glad you're happy with results and looking forward to your updates.

Day 5

Eyes still have stitch on end so perspective off and meds blurring but nausea is gone, feeling good. No pain. Swelling moving downward. Laser warmth and red face subsiding. Have been sleeping almost upright in lazy boy. First post op was yesterday Day 4. He wants me to lube more with the Aquafor. I have become a looming fool. Really can see the new chin and face coming into place. Love my Power Lips but I know they will not be this swollen. I have been"movie star kissing" my male roommate as he leaves the house which sends him into gales of laughter. He took more shots of me today which I will post tomorrow
