2 weeks 3 days Post Op... Slowly getting better!

I had my Post op visit with the nurse on Tuesday for her to remove my dirty steri strips that I had on since the surgrey. She said all looks good in the healing process and she showed me how to massage my boobs- suppose to do everyday for 10 minutes! She said both are dropping at different rates but its okay thats normal. They will settle and get fuller at the bottom and look more symmetrical because right now they dont. I also have a new steri strip on for 1 more week then I can remove them and start applying scar cream.
My main concern throughout recovery has been these weird shooting nerve pains and tingles in my fingers/hands from time to time. It's been stressing me out! I told the nurse about it and she said (thankfully) that its normal and she too experienced it. Its from how they lay your arms on the surgrey table. My nerves have been temporarily (hopefully) affected but will subside with time. So just dont google anything, it gave me more stress and thats not goo for recovery.
My incision on the right boob looks like it's indented which worries me, but I hear that will soften. It already looks better than it dod before. Overall happy with my results, the size is perfect for my body!

13 Days Post Op

I'm slowly seeing progress and love my results! Feeling sore in the chest still but getting better! Steri strips have not fallen off yet, and I was told to keep them on until they fall off on their own but I can't help but feel they shouldn't be on still. Seems unsanitary? Tomorrow I have my post op and Im going to ask if I can take them off and at least replace them. For the worriers out there: I'm finding myself taking any little strange or weird feeling in body as something caused by my implants and afraid it's a bigger deal than it is. I'm trying my best not to stress and I encourage the same to others. For those who get anxiety like myself, try to take comfort in knowing most of what we worry about is not actually what we think it is or will be. I've had odd feelings in my fingers days after surgrey. A strange sensation, not quite pain but discomfort mainly when texting or typing. It comes and goes... don't google, it's the worst...it's made me anxious thinking Im getting an auto-immune disease or something . This forum is so helpful in many ways. I asked a question to the doctors and got a very logical explaination. Rather than worrying yourself sick, calm down. Stress is very bad and can cause more issues. I've learned this throughout this healing process. Be mindful of your body and be proactive if things really seem wrong over time, but be sensible and not over think and assume the worst too. I tried on a bikini top that I would never wear before from Beach Bunny, and now I love it and feel comfortable wearing it!

Pleased with how they look in bralet

Dr.Bendor Samuel is the best plastic surgeon in Atlantic Canada, hands down. His work speaks for itself, and that's why I chose him. He's a very straightforward and often blunt Dr. (which I don't mind at all). So if you're looking for a very warm Dr. he may not be your cup of tea personality-wise, but he will get the job done right, and take good care of you all the same!
