G'day guys :) I've been scrolling through here for ages and figured 4 days out from my surgery that it's time to get posting :)
In the last year I've been diagnosed with Coeliac disease (wheat and gluten intolerance) and so in that time I've slowly lost 14 kilos, dropped 3 dress sizes...and somewhere along the way have also lost my boobies. I was a nice 12C beforehand and now only fill half a 12B bra (just couldn't be bothered buying some A cup ones as decided to get the girls done)
I only went to one consultation with Dr Mark Edinburg from the Eden Institute and felt very comfortable with him and his staff and so afew days later after some thinking, bit the bullet and the little hippy non conformist was then getting a boob job ????
I've had an up and down journey to be honest, they were able to squeeze me in just before Easter at my request (I work for myself and was already having Easter off) ... Which was a total godsend....unfortunately the Sunday before my Tuesday surgery (15/3), I started coming down with a UTi (I don't recommend a full week of sex the week prior to your op just because you don't know when you'll be able to do it again hahahaa) (working my backside off and running myself into the ground also would NOT have helped in the slightest) and so started a 5 day course of Kephlex antibiotics. Unfortunately, the pathology place where my GP sent my sample stuffed in a major way and hadn't logged my sample in in time (which they should've) to give my surgeon at least an interim result as otherwise he was worried about an infection in the body getting into the bloodstream and being transferred my new boobies. So unfortunately on the arvo before my consult my PS had to make a call and pulled the pin. As happy I was he had my health as an utmost priority and was happy to be safe rather than sorry...I was absolutely devasted!! 6 wks of rescheduling work and organising assistants down the gurgler arghhhh!!! (And not only that there was a big possibility that I wouldn't get on another listing for at least another 10 wks which I couldn't even comprehend! Its amazing how you work yourself I felt like such a drama queen but couldn't help it lolol)
Incredibly, the staff at Eden were able to slot me in on a listing on Tuesday 5/4 and have worked their butts off knowing how disappointed I was at missing my surgery. Not only did it NOT cost me a cent and wasn't even charged by the hospital (I'm self funded Medicare only and have never had any kind of elective surgery before so didn't know what the procedures were) But was able to get in again within 3 weeks so I didn't slowly go crazy ????????
Now with only 4 nights to go and after one more UTi scare (amounted to nothing as it turned out just localised irritation and me TOTALLY freaking out) I'm ready to rumble and once again, super excited.
I'm a super cas laid back gal and I can't believe how much of a worrier I've become through all this lol :) Im even taking some herbal supplements for sleeplessness to help stop my brain from working overload at night and waking me up a million times!! What tha??!! Lol
(Oh went to the doc the other day and my UTi results had been clear as it turned out!!! Felt like murdering someone and then decided against it and went and had a chocolate ice cream instead ???? )
I'll post up my current itty bitty [RS bleep] and my wish boobies :)
Dr Edinburg has ordered 4 different sizes ranging from 375cc, 405, 430 and 445cc round silicone for on the day, and will make an executive decision as to what will fit the best knowing that I want to go minimally a 430 as I wanted a decent set of girls.
(Allergan 430/445cc round silicone moderate projection under muscle)
He has been great through the process. He knew that I wanted a natural look and feel, and recommended a round rather than the teardrop implant as "you do want some thing on top" which made sense considering I've got bloody nothing now lol The silicone is sturdy as also! My man came in for my pre op fitting and as a tradie, was seeing just how much stress he could put on the implants and couldn't break them for all the tea in China! (The nurse had to say "now hand over the implants now" which was really funny as we all turned to see this big dude completely engrossed in a silicone implant bahahaaaaa)
Dr Edinburg also said that I could go to a 450cc which was nice to know that he understood that I wanted to go big but also wanted to look natural so it was good to know my parameters.
My only concern re size is when I first tried the 450cc implants on, the projection was a little higher to accomodate the extra capacity and I was a little unsure about how 'sticky outty' it was? Do they drop abit from what they look like at the original fitting? Is it true that you loose 50cc under the muscle? I was told that APPROX it was about 100cc per cup size? I want to get to a DD size ????????

UPDATED FROM wildnfree
1 day pre
Pre Op care, sleeplessness & rice
wildnfreeApril 3, 2016
Ok one day pre op today, feeling good although this weep has been an emotional rollercoaster. I know I'm anxious considering my setback last time and just won't to get into this damn hospital and get cracking!! Lol
Had also started some natural sleep tablets, (a valerian and hops supplement) but it was only after after days did I realise I was getting pretty heavy side effects (migraines/reallllly bad bloating and stomach just hating everything I was putting into my body...it was nearly like they had wheat in them or something (I'm a coeliac) and once I put and two and two together I went off them straight away and had a better end to the week. ( so I'd recommend being careful with sleeping tablets)
Being crook really affected me emotionally too and I could feel that my seretonin was low so if I need to I have some SamE (natural seretonin supplement) and after taking one for two days felt bald to normal and not so sensitive.
Also just wondering what pre care everyone's been doing? For the last 6 wks or so I've been putting bio oil on my chest to hopefully help elasticity so my PS can get the implant in I'm hoping for (now decided with the 445cc so hopefully it'll fit)
I've also been taking supplements for hair skin and nails and a good quality probiotic from my naturopath for my immune system to help w healing.
I've tried the rice in stocking last night. Was a great way to see how big/heavy they could be..left them in all night and practised engaging the core to help the lower back hahaaa
Seriously looking forward to tomorrow. :)
