So sorry for the extreme lack of updates

Hey guys, I haven't died. So sorry for completely disappearing, a lot of stuff has happened in my personal life so updating this wasn't really on my mind. These pictures are taken in the evening the day I took of my bandages and took out stitching, if I remember correctly, so 1 week after the operation. Taking out the stitches in the area between the nostrils was honestly the most painful thing of the whole experience. So in other words I've had very little pain during my recovery.
I wish I had taken a pic of my nose immediately after taking the bandage off because it looked so petite and perfect compared to my old nose. My tip was very narrow and defined due to the compress that had been on but it gradually started swelling up, which is normal and was expected. I had to wear this tape on my nose constantly for a week to keep the swelling controlled. After that I've been taping it every night and I will be doing so for another two months as requested by my surgeon. It's mostly because of my tip, he wants to keep it down so my nose bridge will have a natural curve.
I was kind of shocked when I first saw my chin though because it was so much bigger than my old one and almost made me feel masculine. My surgeon told me it was very swollen and that it would subside, but I was really stressed out about it and immediately thought I'd made a mistake and that I shouldn't have got such a big implant. However my surgeon was completely correct and the swelling has gone down a lot since then. Will update more in another post.

Woke up like this

I'm a little off track on the updates sorry. My recovery has been going great after I got well from the virus I had. However, I woke up sooo swollen two days ago I died. Looked like I had some bad fillers done, my lips were huge and felt like they were gonna burst. No pain though but was kinda hard to eat. I'm still very numb in my lower, right side of my face. I can't really feel anything under the right side of my lips, don't know if that's normal or not but I hope it passes when the bandage comes off.
Day 4 after the surgery I could finally take off the "turban" around my face which felt so good. Looking a little less war injured now haha.
Tomorrow I'm going to Oslo again to the clinic to get all my bandages removed. I'm really excited to get it off but also nervous to see what's under there. I'm very satisfied with how my nose is now by the looks of it under the bandage but I know that could change because of swelling and everything. It looks much smaller and more narrow and defined in front, which is what I wanted. So hope it stays like that.
More unsure about my chin/jaw area as I can't see much of that now with the bandage on. I really hope it's more defined. I've been so insecure of that area since I've been struggling with a double chin even though I'm very thin in general. I imagine I'm quite swollen when they take off the bandage too though, cause it feels like that at least.

Sorry for the lack of updates, been sick

I came home on Friday. The plane flight went totally fine, even though it was delayed with 2.5 hours which made me super restless but I slept through most of it. I was a little nervous if the pressure in the plane would cause any discomfort due to the operation (even though my doctor said it would be fine) but I didn't notice anything at all.
First two days home were good. I was super numb in the lower part of my face so I only ate soups these days. Didn't notice any pain but I took all my meds as prescribed anyway, since it was recommended by my doctor.
Night to Sunday tho... I woke up feeling really groggy. Ended up puking my brains out until the morning + having diarrhea, was a total nightmare. Worst thing that could've happened to me tbh, because I pretty much have puking phobia and it gave me a lot of anxiety amongst all the discomfort. Luckily the puking passed quickly and was done in the early morning. I slept almost the entire Sunday without eating anything because I was afraid of getting sick again.
My mom contacted my doctor and asked if the illness had anything to do with the surgery or if it was a norovirus. He said it wasn't due to the surgery but could either be a reaction to all the meds I was taking or most likely a virus. Since it had been 3 days since my surgery he said the meds weren't needed anymore so I could cut them out if I wasn't in any pain. So I've only been taking like 1/4th of my prescribed dosage and I haven't been sick again. I'm guessing it was a virus though and not the meds since I haven't reacted on them earlier. Really didn't need that tho hahhh but so glad I'm well again.
