Please everyone who is reading this and has a problem with the dark spots, pigmentation and melasma..please go to a ZO Obagi clinic and see a dr there.I have had very good results from their range of products. Its a gradual turnover of your skin with different products targeted towards these problems.
I have tried everything under the sun for my problem and now I finally found a solution.
Belledep, what is your ethnicity? I don’t think you’re a good candidate for IPL if your pigmentation is worse. There are better lasers out there to achieve your results.

Got 2 spots on my cheeks done for 5 times , and it's not going away but made it worse and bigger ! Very regretting it! Bough some obagi brand retin A and bleaching cream and been using them for 3 months, nothing lighten up either.,I should just be happy with the two light spot in my face instead if two big brown blobs , I may look into fraxel laser since I tried it before and it does work a little!!!

Please stay away from lasers !! Too risky. Good luck.
Yes! Too risky and too much money involved!!!
I agree. I'm even scared to get IPL done for redness, even though it's not a laser. But I REALLY want it done, so i'll do a bunch of research & just hope & pray for the best outcome.
It is a safe treatment if you go to a reputable place. Go to a plastic surgeon. Don't buy a groupon
I went to a dermatologist at a very good hospital.
Lasers are unpredictable even when a doctor performs the procedure.
Hope you come out looking good, we always try to be looking as best as possible!!! It's just too much time and money! Some time the result don't come out good either!!!
If something goes wrong you need a psychologist, you have BDD, your aging...,Been there, done that, got the Tshirt. It's all [RS bleep]. Quit defending lasers.
It is not "safe"
I feel bad you are so ignorant to a billion dollar industry. Your loss!
I'm ignorant ?? No your ignorant.. Be careful with peeps faces baby. You can ruin people's lives with this laser stuff. Be careful
How many lives have you ruined jennaLME??
None, I help people feel amazing and more confident. I am licensed trained and extremely knowledgable. Good luck to you with your aging process
Thank You. Good luck to you too. I apologize for the earlier comments. I was having a bad night.
.
Billion dollar industry?
True.No matter how experienced they claim to be the therapist will turn a blind eye to all your problems eventually...
I'm sorry for ur results. Did you go to different doctors? Maybe they can give you different options? I hope you better now. God bless you.
Thank you ! Lovely cat! I'm trying different bleaching cream right now, it's help. Little!!
I too had a bad outcome from IPL (read my review). What they don't tell you, and should, is that it is well known that IPL often makes melasma WORSE. I encourage you to file a report with the FDA at http://www.fda.gov/Safety/MedWatch/HowToReport/ucm053074.htm Doing so helps improve the state of medical knowledge about this procedure, and may encourage the authorities to demand that the device makers invest some $ into making these devices safer.
Thanks for your advises!
Try a chemical peel. Maybe Vi peel or skin medica rejuvenize. You should never use ipl on Asian skin. The Esthetician should have known better.
IPL issues is also correct. IPL will make melisma worse. You only use Chemical peels or fractionated laser for melasma.
Is fractional laser help, because I wanted to try Fraxel laser
It depends on what you're trying to accomplish. It will help with melasma, acne scars or fine lines and wrinkles
Well! I have a little of every thing! Sad!!!
If you lived in NY I could take care of you!
Are you working with doctor who doing laser? If you can give me advise about how strong I have to go with my skin problems!!!
Yes I work under a plastic surgeon. It all depends, if you go more aggressive you will have more downtime but achieve your end goal faster. It's all up to you. What is it your trying to accomplish
I have a lot acne scars and melasma !!! Slight wrinkle too!!!
Switch between chemical peels and fraxel for the best result
Ok! Thank you!!!!
Maybe we just have to accept at who we are!!!
