I got microblading done 4 days ago. The esthetician I chose had perfect reviews online. Her before and after pictures looked amazing, and yet somehow I still ended looking like a cross between an angry bird character, the dad from American Pie and a drag queen. I know that a lot can happen during the healing time and that you really can't determine what the final outcome will be until after your second appointment, BUT is clear to me that my experience was a complete fail! The shape is just way too large for my face. They are terribly uneven and they extend way too low on the ends. I've looked at some of the other pics on realself of what people consider bad work and honestly none of them compare to mine. I immediately went home and lightly washed the area thinking it was just residue ink because she left a lot on. Once I realized how bad they really were, regardless of ink or swelling, I begun to research what you can do to help remove/fade the process. So I did light scrubs of a mixture of Himalayan sea salt, peroxide and distilled water followed by an application of pure aloevera for a total 4 times. Basically until a scab formed which was about 36 hours later in hopes that it would draw the ink out. My scabs have started to fall off and I think I was able to remove a good portion of the ink but I won't know until a month from now once the redness has faded and you can see what the true color is. I contacted my esthetician yesterday about not being happy with the experience and asked if she was able to do a saline correction over some of the area. Particularly the left arch and the ends. She said it wasn't needed. That it will fade and some areas will appear uneven initially until full healing and that anything else could be corrected during touch-up visit. No, you can't correct this without removal of ink!!!
My advice to anyone considering microblading is to make sure you go in with your eyebrows done how you would like the final outcome to look. Also that you really take the time once the technician has drawn/mapped the outline on to fully inspect that and not just rely on what their previous work has looked like and then voice any obvious concerns then. My main mistake was there. I placed too much faith in her skill level, and combined with my ignorance of what the experience would entail, that I honestly wasn't paying close enough attention. Lastly, make sure the esthetician is able to do the saline correction. It makes absolutely no sense to me that the majority of estheticians do not do saline correction. You want your client to be 100% satisfied, and if a correction needs to be made you should be able to do that. I have contacted probably about 10 estheticians that do microblading and only 2 do the saline correction. That is retarded considering how popular the produce is now and the amount of women that are going to be looking for correction work. I am now just waiting for mine to heal enough to get them fixed. Which I have been quoted $400 just to remove the color from one salon. Royally pissed off!

Long story, inexperienced technician, and can't get any info on what to do. Nobody local really wants to get involved with someone else's mess up. Told to wait 3 months before making appointment. I'm so
