I have to say I'm super excited - my breast augmentation turned out really good so far. I decided to go with the Ideal Implant after much research the ideal implant was the way to go for me. I selected Dr. Jon Ver Halen, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with North Texas Plastic Surgery Center in Southlake, Texas. I went in for a consultation October 14th and I was able to schedule my procedure the following week October 21st. It has only been about 12 days since my surgery and I feel pretty good. My breast look amazing. I have this weird burning/pricking sensation where the incision is I was told it's because the nerves around my breast are starting to wake up but it will dissolve in a week or so. My breast have started to soften up some, I do hear a squishy sound when I move a certain way but I'm sure that will dissolve soon also. One thing I notice is that I get tired really fast not sure what that's about I did read that it was normally. I go to my doctor on Friday so I'll make sure to asked him about that. My nipples are at attention 24/7 so I had to buy some nipple covers...because a bra is not needed at this point. I'm still taking it easy but I love love love my new boobs. I'll post pics later.

Hey hun you look great! How long is the swelling supposed to last? I was thinking 4-5 days but think I'm wrong lol xD mine are very swollen in the middle in particular and can feel/hear squelching also tis just the excess fluid around them still but feels weird lol. Happy healing! :) xx

I believe everyone is different....It's been about 17 days for me since my procedure and by the looks of things the swelling is gone. However I know it will take a month or two before I can tell the actual results. PS..I did keep ice packs on mine for 20 minutes on almost every hour or two for the 1st week so I'm sure that helped a lot.

Do you have the new ideal implant?

I love them. After much research of course I wanted to go with what I believed to be the best option for me. Safety of saline, Saline is harmlessly absorbed by the body, I can look in the mirror and know my implants are intact, those are just a few of the reasons. Over all I just had a peace of mind and I feel really good about my decision. I knew many many years ago I wo procrastinated until I felt the timing and the implants where right for me.

Ok thank you so much! I was going to get silicone gel because they look and feel natural. But when I heard about Ideal I decided to get ideal.Because they have saline in them and the outer part look and feel like silicone. So this is even better

Congratulations on your surgery! Glad you're already loving your results! It sounds like you're experiencing all the common post op quirks and fatigue. Good for you for listening to your body and taking it easy. You'll have your energy back in time. Looking forward to your updates and pictures!
