my before/after shots were published on my surgeons facebook group, which I am inserting here.
I am 4 months post op now, still taping every night, still very happy with the results, I can't tell how much swelling is going down as I see myself in the mirror everyday and I think most of the swelling went in the first 6 weeks.
Though with the taping, my nose now (4 months after) looks almost completely straight, versus on the pic below (6 weeks post) where it still seems a little deviated. So, tape your noses people, it helps! :)
Right now I am sick from a bad cold and it has taken me longer to recover then before surgery, I've suffered from sinus pain this time which apparently is normal as my surgery is still fresh and my body can't fight the virus off as easily... but other than that all good! :)

His staff is really friendly. They helped me sorting out coverage with my insurance company which was a nightmare! And they answered all my questions post surgery every time I called, and that was quite frequently. I think it's great that not only dr. Shahidi but also his staff have a broad knowledge about rhinoplasty. When I saw dr. Shahidi he was very professional and honest, which I value very high. I could see his expertise and why he would be one of the most demanded surgeons out there. I did get the sense that he is a busy man, and doesn't have the time to sit with one patient for hours, but that's for a good reason as his appointments run on time and he sees many patients and does many rhinoplastys per week, so this didn't put me off at all... :) I think he tends to under promise and over deliver which is a great thing.. In our first consultation he morphed my after shot and In our second consultation he encouraged me to use his app and create my own before after morph so he could see how I wanted my nose to look like. He listened to my wishes and concerns and delivered exactly what I wanted. Without a doubt I would recommend him to anyone getting rhinoplasty :)
