I've been contemplating a bbl for over 2 years now. I KNEW I was going to do it eventually, just wasn't sure when. I was trying to get surgery done during winter's months but the Dr's that I was consulting with were booked out for months. I had a consult with Soto in Orlando, Salama & Salzhuer in Miami. I paid for consults with both Jimmersen & Mendieta but decided to go with Salzhuer so I canceled my consult with Mendieta. And the whole "scheduling" experience with Jimmersen's office was a nightmare!! He's booked out for over a year, yet they seem REALLY thirsty to get new clients, especially those paying cash, thru the door. I got a bad vibe from his office and I'm glad I didn't go with him and after 2 months I was finally refunded my consult money.
Anyway, I went with Salzhuer and so far I seem to be healing as expected. I can't really rate "his work" for awhile. But his bedside before & after pics, bedside manner and price sold me. His office is really nice and very Miami looking. His consult staff seemed pretty professional. However, his pre-op staff (excluding his anesthesiologist, he was GREAT) seemed a lil unprofessional. Also, the staff I met after surgery (the nurse) and at my post op appointment don't seem to go with his office. They need to be properly trained and maybe take some etiquette training. Anyway, the two most important people were Dr Salzhuer and his anesthesiologist.

The Dr gave me a free consult which was great. His staff scheduled me according to the time that I would be visiting in Miami. I appreciate that they were able to fit me in for a consult within a 3 week notice. Dr's bedside manner, pics, office, and price were final deciding factors. Also, he doesn't use drains which was another detail I was looking for. He seemed honest, energetic, professional, and great at his work. I can't give him a thorough review because I'm only 8 days post op and haven't come across any issues and I hope I don't.
