Here it is going on 2 weeks after - skin is softer and seems to have a better glow but I still have sun/age spots, my wrinkles don't look any better either under the eye which was the area I really wanted to improve. I do know you have to do more than one peel (of any kind of peel) to really see results but getting thru a VI Peel is not easy. I am not sure I would do any peel during the summer. Best time to do peel process every 4-6 weeks is starting in fall to winter. My face had the burning feel day 2 to 4 so was very uncomfortable (I felt crappy) but once the entire face peeled by Sunday, all was good. The red/pinkness has gone away and the blotchiness. Still do not feel $300 cost was worth it. I say do the $150 Vitalize Peel instead. Or if you only have minor issues, do a series of glycolic peels.

Had a VI Peel on a Wednesday 2:00pm. Didn't have that brown tan look they said but more red and face hurt (not so much in pain but very very uncomfortable). I am blonde with fair skin but I do tan if I do gradually. Was told to mix the VI Moisturizer with Aquaphor. So on Friday, I started the lotion and the VI moisturizer stung every time. The Aquaphor is what helped it. I went to gym by Friday and my face hurt and got really red as I worked out. But I didnt blister. By Saturday, was peeling majorly so put lotion on face every half hour to an hour just to keep me from picking. I accidently scratched a few spots here and there and am sure I did in my sleep. I did pull some off myself but not too much. But lotion over and over really helped. You'll be a greaseball for 2 days for I peeled big time Saturday and more on Sunday. Minor peeling between Mon-Wed. Here it is Wednesday, have minor peeling left near scalp area. My skin is softer but I see no difference in my under eye wrinkles that is that crape paper lines. My skin is still a little blotchy which I hope improves by week 2. We shall see or I'll be raising bloody h*ll. I still have some sunspots which seem a little darker to me. Do I think the cost of this peel worth it? NO - you can do the Vitalize Peel for half the price and same results but Vitalize Peel is not as strong (I don't think) and you don't use aftercare stuff other than lotion they recommend to you. VI Peel must be new for the cost. So we shall see - I am 46 years old and looking to improve my skin after years of sunning in my 20's. My dermatolgist stated that unless you do many peels or many microdermabrasions (3-5 a year) and wear sunscreen every day, its not worth your time. Just doing one won't be enough. It may refresh your skin if doing just one but to really improve, he said you pay for 3-5 a year or do laser resurfacing once a year.
