So I went it for my last conversation with by surgeon and he fill that a free nipple graft is the best option for me. I am not sure on what to do my surgery is July 8 2016. I'm 31 with no kids. I would like to a least try breast feeding but that's not possible with the technique. I'm 5'2 160lbs last bra I brought was a

I got my BR on july 8 1 week later the ps took my steri strips off and i had a tear at my t junction. For two weeks my surgeon did nothing but tell me to put neosporn on my wound and change my dressings. After another week it got bad on both breast he didnt want to send me to wound care like i asked. I had to demand that i go after asking them for week in a half. I have been going to wound care for 2 weeks now. They have me using santyl cream and aquacel I'm in pain all the time. I went to get a second opinion and now I have another surgery schedule with another Ps on September 7th to closed my wound they are just getting bigger and not healing.

I am on a similar boat as you. No one told me this could happen as I am healthy. I am so upset! My surgery is this Wednesday for a skin graft. I demanded a wound culture because this will be 3rd surgery in 6 weeks. The last attempt on 8/12 to close my wounds resulted in a repeat! You can see my post today. I am only doing wet to dry dressings with saline.

31 Much Need Breast Reduction Unknown Size
So I had been thinking about having a breast reduction for the last 2-3 years. I went in for my first visit with Dr. Gilbert (hauge center). The office submitted my paper work and I was approved in a week. My surgery was schedule on July 8. I was so nervous. Dr. Gilbert did an amazing job. We talked about free nipple graft but I didn't want that procedure done. After my surgery I was ok a little sore the ride home was awful. Saturday July 9th second day after my surgery was the worst day ever. I was in so much pain I could not move I could not eat I was just so sore and in so much pain my temp was 102. Sunday July 10th was a little better I tried to get out of bed and walk around so I wouldn't get blood clots. Monday I went in for a follow-up appointment he then took my drains out with her a lot. I go back next Monday for another follow-up. I have been trying to wean myself off of their narcotics because I'm kind of bloated and I haven't had a bowel movement. After my surgery I felt so much relief on my neck and my back and my shoulders were all my pain was. He informed me that he removed a thousand off each breast. I'll give you more updates as they come so far I'm doing better I got out of the house and went to the grocery store I didn't lift anything though. I haven't really had a full appetite I've only been eating applesauce and fruit cups in grapes I tried to cook real food and then I just can't eat a lot of it so it goes to waste has anyone else been having that issue. I also noticed a little bloating in the tummy area has anyone else experienced that or if anyone has any suggestions to help out with that I would greatly appreciate it thank you.

I just had reconstruction two weeks before you. The abdominal swelling has just gone down so give it a little time. I lost my appetite too but I think it is just anxiety. But if you tended to overeat before maybe it's the beginning of healthier eating habits. Sometimes there are unexpected benefits in things initially perceived as negative. Try to make sure that if your portions are less that they are nutritionally packed with good things for your body. I'm happy that you are pleased so far and are feeling less pain due to the decreased weight / breast tissue. Every day should get a little better as you are able to do more and get out more. Just be careful not to overdo it. Good luck

Stool softeners for the constipation and if that doesn't work Dulcolax or Miralax. Your doc should have warned you to prepare for the constipation before surgery since you would have to take narcotics for pain relief but they never do. I don't know why they don't. Good luck.

Not so great wish I would have not had this surgery
I'm so upset and uncomfortable more so I'm frustrated with my healing process it's so bad at this point I don't know what to do.

well my first PS did nothing but tell me it will get better and it didn't. he had me apply bacitracin to it and cover with non adhesive dressing to it. so I went and had a second opinion and I have another surgery scheduled for Sept. 7

Are you getting a skin graft to close it? I am having 1 tomorrow. I clean with saline and applied saline wet to dry dressings twice a day and all the slough came off ( that is what you have in the pic) then you are left with a meaty looking base.

I think he going to go in a see what dead tissue and good tissue I have left then close me back up. He warned me that I may come out very small. I'm still swollen also.

Sweetheart that's horrible I pray that you heal ok! I had a similar issue but it was much smaller and finally healed about 9 months later
