Two months!

Just a couple of photos to update. I've had a lot of questions about breast symmetry, and I'd like to say that overall I'm very pleased with the outcome in that regard. I still have asymmetry, which I knew I would because I elected not to have my right nipple/areola complex raised during surgery. I'm truthfully glad that I did not, because the difference to me is so slight and completely unnoticeable in clothing or bathing suits. I feel great, and every week I continue to see subtle improvements in my look. As my right implant continues to settle, I expect the nipple will go up in relation to the implant and appear more symmetrical. Thank you so much for all of the kind words and encouragements!

Six week postop visit
kt1011May 6, 2015
Really quick update: 6 week postop visit with my PS went great. Girls continue to drop and fluff, and I'm completely back to my normal routine. Patience is a virtue for sure! Love them and love wearing whatever I want to now (without having to fret over whether or not I can wear my super-padded push-up bra with it!) It really has made my life easier and more fun in ways that I hadn't considered prior to surgery.

You look FAB, sweetie. So glad you are back to your normal routine and can wear whatever you want without having to fret. I'm so happy for you. You are incredible looking! Good luck with the remainder of your healing and enjoy your new boobies and fun, easier life...xoxoxo

Hi, how have you found your asymmetry in pictures? That seems to have settled in your last pic and are looking really good. I am 6 months post op (had asymmetry and ptosis corrected) and I think I am stuck with them still looking asymmetrical in pictures, but in real/mirror life they look so much better than what I did have. :)

Yes, Smills, mine seem very symmetrical now in person, but still seem "off" when I take photos. I really think it has to do with using the front camera on my iPhone. Congrats on your surgery!!

And I should add that I knew that my right nipple was much lower than my left and I elected to not have it lifted and accept the asymmetry. But compared to my "before" pics it is hardly noticeable now. I read your question to the doctors from three weeks ago...sorry to hear that the asymmetry hasn't improved. :( Is your surgeon recommending revision?

Thank you!! Yea, that is the same as with mine. But I think also because mine were so yuck to start off with, there was only so much that could be done to improve them, which they are now a thousand times better in person. I should stop taking photos of them

That is awesome that the asymmetry is hardly noticeable now, such a good result from your pics! He said to leave it until our 1 year catch up and reassess, but he doesn't think there is much that can be done given what I had to start with. I know they will never be perfect and they most definitely are better than what I had

I am so happy for you! They look so good! They're what I want for myself. Something natural under clothes but perkier in swimsuits. I don't find many people posting here with smaller implant sizes, so I was thrilled to find yours. I was also a full 34 B before pregnancy, but now can't really quite fill out an A cup. I'm asymmetrical too and breastfeeding has made it even more asymmetrical (my kids liked the left bigger boob better). Have you started exercising again? And I was wondering how recover was with your little ones. I have a 7,4, and 1 year old. My little ones almost 1 year and a half and is very attached to me. Any insight ir advice is welcome. You look great! :)

Thanks so much! I am loving them so much, and the size is perfect for my lifestyle. I haven't been bra shopping but I suspect I'm a 34C. The first 2 weeks or so were pretty hard, but I didn't have any help beyond my DH, and I went back to work full time after 5 days. :-/ If you can arrange help for the first 7-10 days, it would definitely be ideal. However, it's doable even if you can only get a few days (just hurts more!) One thing I didn't realize (even though I should have with all the reviews on this site) is how long it takes to see the "final" results. I'd say it took at least a month until I truly liked the way they looked, and at two months, I'm still seeing changes. I still have asymmetry, but it's only really noticeable to me when naked. ;) All in all I am thrilled with my outcome and wouldn't do it differently at all if I had it to do over. And I'm completely back to my regular running regimen (12-15 miles per week) with no trouble. Best of luck to you!

you look great, kr1011! I'm 7 weeks post-op, just really getting back into working out. I've been going on long hill-walks, doing lunges & squats, & crunches, but still not comfortable working out my arms. Are you back to working out normally yet? You got such great results!!! XOXO

Hi Fit! Yes, I'm pretty much back to normal workouts. Run 12-15 miles per week with light weight training. Can do modified push ups with no problem but full push-ups are still not quite back to baseline. Glad to hear you're getting back into workouts. You're more dedicated than me. ;) Congrats on your BA!
