First I want to thank all of you for your courage to share your stories i helped me so much with decision.
I got my implants when I was 19, I enjoyed them. Know I'm in a different place in my life, they were almost 15 years old and 3 months ago I was diagnose with Hashimoto thyroditis and some PS experts in explantation said that it could because of the implants and i didn't like the idea of having something toxic in my body and the need to keep changing them every 10 years.

I had my surgery today, I did it with Dr Robert Schnarrs in Norfolk, VA
It was in his office he has all the equipment there and it wasn't as expensive as a hospital.

My breast looks very small hopefully it will fluff a little :)
I never though I would be in this place in my life to prefer have small breast over my health! God healed my self esteem for sure !
The surgeon put drains and he is going to take them tomorrow. He sells the bra to use post surgery.

Excuse my grammar English is my second language :)

Wow you look great! I've just been diagnosed with thryoid problems, not Hashimotos but thyroiditis with "strange looking tissue". That was also my trigger to get these implants out, despite my doctor telling me there was no evidence of a link....but I'd rather be safe than sorry, and yes, our health is what really matters in the end. Happy healing x

Grieving a little

New and natural
Grieving a little. I went out with my sister so I put on clothes and a sport bra and I felt sad and having mixed emotions. I had the option to not do any lifting and wait how my breast would recover but I chose to do an small lift and my breast is looking flat in the middle. I'm hoping that is going to fluff some with time :/

I think you look great! They look about the same size as mine. I had mine out 3 weeks ago and I had a lift. I am very pleased with the new size and shape and I'm sure you will be just as happy with yours. It just takes a little time to adjust to your new body! Wishing you happy, healing thoughts!!
