WORTH IT
I found Dr. Kotler's office after extensive research on RS for surgical and non-surgical rhinoplasty. Surgery is incredibly expensive and risky, and fillers are temporary and quickly add up in cost.
I always thought if a non-surgical rhinoplasty could be made permanent, that would be an ideal situation. Unfortunately, most plastic surgeons claim the non-surgical permanent rhinoplasty doesn't exist.
Enter Dr. Kotler, who is one of two surgeons in the US who offer this service. It would require me to fly from Chicago to Beverly Hills for three rounds, as it's essential to gradually layer the silicone in the nose. But even with all travel expenses, it was still a fraction of the cost of a traditional rhinoplasty. I am so happy I decided to pursue it.
From start to finish, Dr. Kotler and his staff have been very warm, efficient, and accommodating. It's amazing how someone so prolific could be so down to earth and humble. I had concerns in the past that high-profile plastic surgeons would have an aura of "I'm famous, and you should be grateful I am taking your case." But here I felt they were grateful that *I* chose *them* for my cosmetic concerns and didn't take that for granted.
Lastly, money takes a back seat to honesty and ethics here. This is not a very lucrative procedure for doctors, which makes the nonsurgical permanent rhinoplasty practically unheard of. I think most providers would prefer to sell a patient on the more expensive option, even if it isn't in the patient's best interest. Dr. Kotler has been very transparent throughout the process, and I never felt like money was the underlying aim of any suggestion.
Nothing is without risk, and you can only get so much information when researching providers. But I can't imagine anyone can top the quality care and kindness that I received here. Thank you, Dr. Kotler!
