Thank you very much for sharing your experience. Yes, people often don’t love needles but the anesthetic cream that we apply to the skin 45 minutes before the procedure takes away the pain and the anxiety of anticipating the pain. The permanent, nonsurgical rhinoplasty using medical grade silicone, marketed as Silikon-1000 is a very practical solution for many patients. Often a very appropriate substitute for surgery. There are some issues that must be addressed by surgery, but there are other issues that can be more handily managed by using the permanent filler. Amongst those are patients with a very low bridge typically seen in certain ethnic groups. The other is people with a somewhat round tip that benefits from adding some height and thus refinement to the tip. Obviously a consultation is always in order and can quickly discern whether the most appropriate treatment for a given architectural imperfection of the nose is surgery or the permanent filler office treatments. Thank you for sharing your experience with the community.
