Doctor Does Not Provide Follow Up Care

GO to a stellar doctor!!! SKIP Dr Newen.
I went to a med spa managed by Dr. Newen for non surgical rhinoplasty. I was trying to avoid him actually due to unfavorable Google reviews that say he has staff doing his intake and follow up. He is unreachable.
I decided I would go to a local med spa for the non surgical. Based on my last experience, I figured it would be uneventful, and leave me looking exactly like I wanted. Unfortunately for me though, I hadn't realized Dr. Newen, the surgeon I wanted to avoid, is the same doctor that manages a location named The Image Center. I didn't realize this until after I had my awful experience here.
You never speak to a doctor here. It is filled with a young staff of women.
During my follow up appointment to the Image Center, I met Dr. Newen finally and Jane (apparently the owner of this place). It was crazy as I was not given any comfort, insight, or adult conversation of the issue surrounding my face. Apparently, as I found out later, I had edema around my eye. Swelling. No medical evaluation or professional opinion on how to fix the issue was provided. Instead, to the great dissatisfaction of myself and husband, the doctor said he "did not see anything". It was actually so bizarre and crazy and honestly, just makes me laugh at what a complete blindman he acted like.
I think it was for legal reasons, but he pretended nothing was wrong with my eye. Listen, legal reason or not, you want a MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL who REALLY CARES about you to work on you. Things can and very possibly will go wrong. You need the office you choose to take your face and body seriously and work with you to determine how they can help you in your adverse reaction, experience or improper administration of procedure.
I mean it was so crazy that the doctor was trying to say there was nothing going on to my face. While I was sitting straight across from him.
Research edemas. They are common with fillers, especially those placed incorrectly. Especially for patients looking at any type of eye area treatments. Just a side note here so that you REALLY go into what looks to be a minor procedure and ask yourself if risks are worth taking.
Jane, the CEO and probably owner, agreed to provide me with a full refund. I never got it.
