I Would Be Cautious if You Are Coming from out of Town

I would be cautious if you are coming from out of town.

I had a non surgical nose job with Jacob on 1/27. Jacob is great at what he does but I would not recommend going in for this procedure if you are not local. I traveled to Miami because I had seen Jacobs Instagram. Initially I loved my results but around 2 weeks my filler looked like it started to go down and the bump I was trying to hide was becoming apparent again. I emailed the office with pictures expressing my concern because I paid extra for the filler that can last up to to years. And I also got my chin done as he suggested it would help balance my face. At week 3 the filler seemed to have gone down even more and I had yet to receive a response back from the office. I decided to call the office to see if they had gotten a chance to review my pictures. The girl who answered the phone told me that she read my email and forgot to respond but she would talk to Jacob that day and get back to me. She also told me that my body may have broken down the filler, and proceeded to tell me that she got her cheeks done and her results disappeared quickly and in her words “this just happens in some cases”. Anyways 2 days later and still nothing. At this point my results were not what I left the office with and I was heavily upset. I decided to send in another picture again because for something that could last up to 2 years my results should have at least lasted a few months and not 2 weeks. Again no response from the office. I called the office again on 2/19 and got a hold of someone in Dr Miami’s office. She had me forward her my pictures and called me back saying that I could come in for a touch up (at an extra cost) which is frustrating because I am out of state and this wasn’t mentioned to me as a possibility at my consultation. If it was I wouldn’t have gotten the procedure done. Additionally I am upset that I paid extra (850 for my nose and 650 for my chin) for something that barely lasted 2 weeks. This was my first cosmetic procedure and not being able to get in touch with any staff or a response back for my concerns from people I let inject a substance into my body is also upsetting.

This is helpful. I am considering going there for this. I actually almost flew in from where I was living before, but now I live minutes away from their office so it will not be an issue if I need to go back and get additional filler. I have had to go back to an injector before to add, remove or refine whatever area I was treating. This is common, I think. They probably needed to add more filler to your nose initially, but trust me it would've been worse if they overdid it. Less is more! Your review is helpful in regards to patients traveling out of town though.
