Many years ago, I had a "septoplasty" to help straighten a deviated septum. Unfortunately, the surgery did not go well and my septum ended up even more crooked than before the surgery. Sadly, not only did this mean a reduction in my ability to breathe properly, but it also caused my nose to appear crooked on the outside. After a couple of years of living with the issue, I decid ed to have a rhinoplasty to fix both the breathing and appearance issues. Although the rhinoplasty did create some improvements, it created a different set of problems, including a noticeable indentation on the left side of my nose that caused my nose to look quite asymmetrical from the front. After another few years of accepting the situation, I decided to do something about it. After consulting with several local doctors, I was told that my best option was another rhinoplasty. As well, I was informed that temporary fillers, such as restylane, could also be helpful. To me, the risks of another surgery outweighed the potential benefits, and the temporary filler option really did not provide good value in the long-term. After conducting a lot of research on alternative options, including reading reviews on this site, I learned about Dr. Joseph's expertise with using Silikon 1000 (which is permanent) in non-surgical nose shaping. I decided to give his clinic a call to make an appointment. As I live in Canada (and his clinic is in New Jersey), the staff offered to have the doctor review photos of me to make sure I was a good candidate before I booked a flight. I thought this was extremely considerate and Dr. Joseph provided good feedback on the photos I sent. Based on the good service I had received, booked a flight and visited the clinic in person last week. Dr. Joseph, as well as the rest of the staff at the clinic, were extremely friendly when I got there. Dr. Joseph took the time to chat with me to get a full appreciation of my concerns. He then told me and showed me exactly when he was going to do and completed the treatment as painlessly as possible. Surprisingly, although there was definitely some swelling after the treatment, there was no bruising. After leaving the clinic, I felt and looked fine. I spent the rest of the day walking around NYC. Overall, although I cannot claim that my nose is now perfectly symmetrical after a single treatment, there definitely has been noticeable improvement. Given the lack of downtime, the treatment definitely seems to have been worth it (including the cost of the flight down from Canada). I'll provide a further update in a month or so. Thanks.

Dr. Joseph, as well as his clinic staff, are truly outstanding. They provided me with attentive, helpful service from my initial phone call to my post-treatment communications. He is both a friendly, caring physician, as well as extremely skilled with using Silikon 1000.
