Hi ladies.. I love reading all your reviews, I am having surgery in Madrid tomorrow. Going for my post op meeting in a few hours.. So nervous but also very excited. I'm staying in a hotel 20mins away from the hospital. So I have just been and bought loads of food in for the next few days as I'm here alone. Anyone else stayed alone after surgery? Any tips? Thanks in advance x

Hello. Well done on taking the brave decision to undergo breast reduction surgery.
Try and remember your body will need time to heal and give it time by not rushing into doing too much early on, rest a lot, take small steps and if you overdo it then ease off.
You may feel a bit up and down because anaesthetic makes us like that, so don't worry. Although you want and need breast reduction it may take time for you to adjust to seeing yourself with smaller breasts, again don't worry, it's normal.
Your final shape may take months to happen, so don't worry if your breasts don't seem quite right for a few weeks or even months.
While you're resting maybe you could think of the good reasons for having breast reduction and why you'll be better for it: physical comfort, easier clothing choice, emotionally better.
You may be alone in person but there are other people thinking about you, so take comfort.
I wish you well on surgery today and for good healing.

Thank you for your comment. It's the morning after the surgery. I am still in quite a lot of pain and discomfort but I'm sure it will get better. I am booked into the hotel for 10day so give me chance to have a good rest away from my babies as they are very demanding. I bought lots of food and water so I don't have to leave the room. Pretty boring few days aheal

I just done my nose job with dr. Noguiera yesterday. All went well. Iam staying in a hotel 2 mins away. Get lots of supplies and water and juices so you dont need to leave hotel for the first day or two. Today i stayed in a hotel all day, but tomorrow can go for a walk :) all the best with your op!

Hi Paula, I was reccomend Dr Nogueira by a friend and I'm so glad I had him do it. However I would definitely suggest to take someone with u as i found the whole process coming out from the theatre very distressing. They wake u from the anaesthetic and then you are asked to leave after a few hours. I was in no fit state to leave and found it all very disturbing so better if someone is there with u. I am in a lot of pain but I guess that's normal. I'm struggling to sleep too as i don't normally sleep on my back so that is uncomfortable. I am bandaged up so will post pics In a few days. When r u thinking of having it done?x

Paula if your having breast reduction surgery please dont go to Dr Nogueira. I dont think he knows what he is doing. I have had the most horrendous experience and it has ended uo costing me the same as if I would have gone ro harley st or a good surgeon in the uk

So I went to the docs for a check up and to take off my bandages. He said they are healing good and look how they should. I think they look awful but apparently this is normal.my left nipple seems to be so high. Anyone else had one nipple higher than the other at this stage? Is this normal?

HEY! Hows it going now? I just had my surgery on Jan 16th and I am going to my one week check up tomorrow morning. My left nipple is higher than my right and I am nervous about how it is going to turn out too. Have your equaled out at all between 9 and 17 days?
January 24, 2017
Hi they still look odd but I'm told it's normal for them to not look normal for a few months so I guess it's just a waiting game. They are still quite sore and really sensitive. How are you feeling?

Pretty good, thanks. I got a different bra yesterday because the other one was a torture corset.

I am 7 days post op and thought I would be moving around a lot more. I still am very sore and have sharp stabbing or stinging pains every once in a while. Hope it gets easier by day 17!

Hiya yes it takes a while... I read loads of reviews with people saying they were up and out doing stuff in the 1st week. Yesterday I began to feel like I can do most things but I'm still very uncomfortable. How are your breasts looking? Are you glad you had it done?
January 23, 2017
Hello.

I'm glad you made it home after your 10 days in the hotel. It looks like your surgeon did a marvellous job with the shape and size of your breasts, what a difference from before, they're looking tremendous. I agree that currently one nipple looks very slightly higher than the other. I wonder if as your breasts settle down they may even out just that fraction: to be fair even if they don't it's a tiny amount. We do look at ourselves very critically and when your brain adjusts to your breasts being smaller, everything may well seem good. You seem to be healing very well and I'm glad your pain is easing. Honestly, your breasts look fantastic. I hope you continue to heal well.

Ah thankyou so much. Your msgs are so lovely.. did you have a breast reduction yourself?
January 30, 2017
Hello. I'm sorry for my late reply.

The answer to your kind question is no I haven't had a breast reduction though if it were possible I would have some bone removed from the one side of my chest. I had a tumour that grew in the one side of my chest and pushed it out: it also grew halfway through the chest bone on that side. The consequence is a noticeably asymmetric chest that is quite obvious in clothing and people look at. So no breast reduction, but would look at bone reduction.

Back to you please. I do hope you are continuing to heal well, even though you're back home and have the added problem of little ones wanting to climb all over you.

Take care and heal well.

Wow I think they look great !
January 24, 2017
I just noticed they look dry. Are you putting anything on them?
January 24, 2017
Ah thankyou... I'm not putting anything on them the doc said to just to pat dry them after showering and put the dressing back on.

Research wound healing/scar reduction. Newer studies say moist healing provides better results- but i'd do what my ps recommends. Maybe ask them?
