I am now 7 weeks post procedure. I followed up with my doctor and was prescribed an antibiotic and ant-viral for the persistent pustules I was experiencing. That has all cleared up now and I am very pleased to say that I can definately see the improvement in my skin. It looks younger and the wrinkles are less obvious. I have discussed having another procedure in the future, probably the fall as I cannot risk a long down-time. IF I have it again I shall have an anti-viral as a precaution and my doctor will target specific areas around my chin. I hope that my review will help those out there who are considering this treatment. Remember we are all different and will react accordingly. Allow down-time and be patient for results.

Almost 5 days post procedure. Yesterday afternoon I began to itch really bad and had to apply soaks for about an hour to calm things down and took Benedryl. Started to get concerned as little blisters not going away. When I got up this morning the redness seemed to be subsiding but as my skin was very dry I applied a thin layer of vaseline. This made my skin worse so I contacted my doctor. he has prescribed Valtrex and said I should be able to use my own moisturiser. However I felt nervous about doing this so I tried aloevera. My skin looks better but is itching, It is bearable at the moment. I am concerned that I have a nickel sized thread vein patch that was not there before. Hopefully this will subside or else it will need some treatment, electolysis perhaps or something that will work immediately as it is worse than any other blemish on had before the procedure. At this stage I am regretting having had this done. I know it is early days but being down for this long awful with Christmas in 3 days. Thankfully my husband is able to go and fetch what I need.

Almost 4 days post procedure. Still very red but the skin is beginning to flake. I am continuing with the water vinegar soaks and vaseline. I had to go out yesterday to sign some important papers. I had on a cap, surgical mask and sunglasses. The attorney had to take my word that I was who I said I was. I am hoping that the redness will be gone by Monday as my instructions are not to wear make-up for 7 days.
