I never thought I would have a tummy tuck with muscle repair and lipo. It's not something I always wanted to do but when I realized that a good diet and consistent exercise wouldn't get rid of the pouch I was left after having my children the thought became a reality. I interviewed a couple doctors and picked the one who helped me feel confident in the decision. I am 13 days post op and I can tell you for me, it is worth it. Getting through the first 4 days of post op was the hardest thing I've physically endured but each day has gotten better.

Passionate, professional, particular and subtly confident. Meeting with Christian Subbio solidified my decision in having a full tt/mr/lipo. He is confident in his practices and skill in addition to being a compassionate person and good listener. I interviewed a couple surgeons but none of them were like Dr. Subbio. His office is exceptionally clean, modern and tasteful. In my line of work presentation means a lot so walking into Subbio's office gave me a sense of calm and peace. Subbio is an artist in every way possible which is obvious when you meet him. The attention to detail is what I needed to feel comfortable in moving forward with the procedure and it was evident immediately. Dr. Subbio has corresponded with me throughout the entire post op so far via text, calls and even meeting me on a Sunday morning to check something out. His staff is professional and caring. Dr. Subbio is the reason I took the leap and did this for myself. I am grateful to him for his attention to detail, passion for what he does and for his confidence in my end result. I would recommend him to anyone who truly expects the very very best.

Sometimes all we need is a little help to get our bodies back.  I am glad to hear all went well and that you are doing good.  It will only continue to get better and better from here on out.

Nice to hear things are getting easier. I'm 3 days post op. So far I'm finding the areas where I had Lipo are worse than the incision itself. Am super swollen too. When did you feel your swelling started to reduce (if it has!)? Thanks
YES. The lipo areas are the worst. I actually got a blister which was terrible and still not healing that great because I can't leave it exposed to get air! I'm still swollen but have noticed it go down in the last week. The first week my flanks didn't even look like I had lipo- they almost looked larger than they were before. The bruising is going away (making its way down my legs!) and every day seems to be getting better. I can actually sit myself up from a laying position now in bed using my ab muscles which is a good feeling. HANG in there. The first 72 hours are the worst. Keep drinking a TON of water, keep getting up to pee, walk around and in a few more days you will start to resemble a normal person again! I'm actually about to get in the shower for my first work appt since 1/16 when I had my surgery! I'm looking forward to getting out in the sunshine!!
Was just thinking that I'm going to make a point of taking my morning cuppa out to the garden tomorrow to get some fresh air! Glad to hear things are getting easier by the day. Blister sounds like a nightmare...hope it improves quickly. Good luck back at work!
