I have had very asymmetrical breasts for all of my adult life and it caused a lot of self-esteem issues. When I was 22, I was diagnosed with Poland's syndrome. I always knew that I wanted to get breast implants to correct this issue and that it would be a bit more complex, but didn't get too serious in my research until April 2015.
I had my surgery on October 30, 2015. When I woke up from anesthesia and noticed that my asymmetry was already immensely less visible, I was brought to tears of joy. My recovery, thankfully, was much easier than I had expected considering my syndrome. Aside from some discomfort, I felt great and was back to work after a week.
It's been almost two months since my surgery and I know that it will still be a while before everything is settled, but I have never in my life felt this great! For the first time in my life, I feel whole, and for that, I am so grateful!

Congratulations! I have heard other members with this syndrome say that their surgery has literally changed their lives. So happy for you and your new look. Do you recall what type and size implants you got?
