I'm on second day lost op. TT and lipo of the hips.
I have the same scary and intense back pain. Almost a numbing pain that shoots down long my spine.
In addition the pain from the incision feels like it's on Fire.
Reading everyone's feedback is inspiring me to tough it out.
will give ive an update next week.

Tummy tuck & lipo day 5 (4days post op)
CuteyGrlJuly 13, 2014
Had surgery on Tuesday it's now Saturday. Today I removed the pain pump 'on-Q' that was a very weird feeling. I could feel ends snagging beneath my belly flesh and the tubes were about 1.5 feet long.
I have been going 8 to 12 between pain med pills instead of the recommended 4 hrs.
I'm pacing the pain killers because it's now 5 days since my bowel movement and I'm growing very concerned. I took Miralax on day 4 and nothing so today I took Magnesium Citrate but I have not taken any pain Killers either.
I'm approaching 24 hrs with no pain killers on day 5 which is good that the pain is subsiding.
Will let you know how it works out.
*pun intended*
