I hate that it says that I am three months away from my surgery date--it is actually 2.5 months to be exact :) Anyways, I have already chosen my PS for my breast augmentation, 2.5 months ago (yes I booked my surgery date 5 months out!). I wanted to write about my experience, but I didn't want to start writing about it 5 months before the surgery, or even think that much into it, until I got closer to my surgery date. Mainly because I didn't want to get myself too excited with so much time to go until surgery.

The reason why I booked my date so far in advance is because I am self employed and November is typically not a crazy busy month for me. I am taking a full 16 days off after the surgery.

I am about 5' 7.5" and I weight 117 lbs. I am pretty much straight up and down. I have been wanted BA off and on probably since I was a teenager. I enjoy working out, although I am naturally thin, and I am sure this doesn't help by boyish figure! I was teased all throughout high school, but that is not the reason why I am doing this. Now that I am in my mid 20's with a fiance who couldn't care less about the size of my chest, I am doing it for me. Thankfully he is understanding of why I want to do this.

The scariest part so far has been telling my mom. She is not 100% against PS, since she was there with me when I got my rhinoplasty surgery about 2.5 years ago. She saw how much confidence I gained from the surgery. When I told her, at first she said "no, no, no, no, no!" (so many no's!) Her main concern is that the implants could cause cancer. Has anyone heard anything correlating the two? Now she's pretty much on board and is going to stay with my fiance and I the week that I have the surgery.

I have told a few friends and they all say "why?". It's kind of hard to tell them, well, let's see.. my one boob is bigger than the other, I wear padded bras 24/7, and my nipples are different sizes, I want to look more womanly..... So I've decided that no one else needs to know, and they will be able to see why I got it done next summer :)

I have my pre-op in less than two months, and I am excited to choose my size and get the blood tests over with already! I am enjoying reading other people's stories on here, and I am learning a lot about what recovery is like. I am not looking to get DD's or anything, maybe just C's would be nice, as I am not working with a lot right now.

I will post again in probably another month as I get closer to my date!

You sound just like everyone in the beginning. Really think about the size. You will go thru alot recovering and it is alot of money. Now even me at 54 wish I would have gone bigger. Not alot bigger, but another 50-100 cc's. I went 300 and am probably a C. Wish I would have done a full C, not a small C. Good luck

Thank you! Reading through everyone's posts, it sounds like the biggest regret ends up not going big enough! I am thinking a full C, but I will not figure it out until my pre-op, 2 weeks before my surgery date.

I too booked several months out....but more because I wanted to get the summer in and not be recovering in the heat. I'm a little smaller than you, but at 51, not looking to go too big. 250-275 is what I will be getting Nov 4. Can't wait to see how all us Novembers make out!

Here are some boobies that I think look really nice, and not too large for my frame ???????? It's going to be nice to have abs AND boobs so I don't have to looking like a wash board from chest down ????
