First Post -- 36DDD

So I have been grappling with the desire to have a breast reduction for at least the last 10 years. I've finally decided to kick fear in the ass and do what I want for me. I went to my first consultation and quickly (w/in 2 weeks) received approval from my insurance company . Yippeee!! Seems like that was too easy but we will walk on this road together and see how dreadful or easy it stays. So now that the insurance part is out the way I have opted to NOT go with the initial surgeon; I didn't get a good feel from her. Not sure if it was her energy or whatever but when I left I knew she wasn't "my" surgeon. I felt rushed. I didn't feel like I mattered. I felt I was just a $40 co-pay in the end. So I am. My next consult is on 26 Dec. On this site he has over 50 reviews from all types of procedures including mine and he still has a 5 star rating. Hopefully all will go well and the vibe is there so we can proceed. Until my next post I say to you hall Happy Holidays and until we meet again...

So here I am 3 days post op. I have drains and occasionally they are annoying but otherwise no pain. I take 1 pain pill at night to get rest since these drains make it damn near impossible. Drainage is slowing and becoming more clear which is a good thing. Right now I’m just bored. I know I need the rest but I feel like I could have gone to work lol I just hate being home with nothing to do. The underlying aching in my back is now gone. I felt it immediately when I woke up. I like the size of my new breasts. I can’t wait to see them.
