5 months in

I had my surgery about 5 months ago. I have finally got adjusted to this new body of mines. It's so weird to see old pictures of me now. I'm blessed for this journey.
I've healed up great. I don't like the scars but I have started to use a scar cream to help with those.
I have started going back to the gym on the regular in order to loose more weight. I've decided that I am going to get a tummy tuck here in the future once I get to my ideal weight. I will start posting on that journey soon enough.
To anyone reading, I hope this review has helped you gain the confidence you need to go forward with the surgery!

1 month post op

Hi everyone!

So we are finally a few days over the first month.

I have to consider myself lucky because I have not had any real issues.

The swelling has gone down tremendously. I still have some hard areas where the incision but my doctor said that it will go away.

One thing that does concern me a little bit is the bruising. I still have some bruising going on. I have been taking bromelain ( I am not spelling that right) to help with that.

I have not started scar therapy as of yet. I have a doctor’s appointment in 8 days so I am going to discuss with him starting scar therapy. The scars don't bother me at all though. I am just so happy to have smaller boobs. LOL!!

I am going to discuss with him doing a fat transplant for my shoulders. So the bra straps dug into my shoulders so badly that now if feels as if I am rubbing against the bone of the shoulder. There is no fat there. I am hoping he can do a transfer to my shoulders so that it will help with those grooves.

Another thing that I am dealing with is sensitivity. I am so sensitive there. At any given moment, you can see my headlights through my shirt. But I still can't feel my nipple on my left breast.

Another things that I am super grateful for is that I can sleep on side throughout the night now and sometimes on my tummy. When I sleep on my tummy, I make sure that I have a memory foam pillow under my boobs so that they aren't just on the stuff bed.

I love that I am able to buy smaller bras now. I brought a few wireless bras from WalMart. I haven't been able to get a bra that cheap in forever!! Two bras cost me a little under 21 dollars! My old bras were easily 50 and up.

I just started back up walking. I will be in the gym full time when the doctor gives me the green light.

I an still super emotional when I think about the road to the final me. I love how I look now. I wish I would have done this earlier. I realize how badly this messed with my self-esteem. Since this surgery, my confidence level has spiked and I feel great. I feel like a burden has been lifted. Literally...

Still recovering

Hi everyone!
So today makes it a full two weeks since surgery. I'm feeling so much better than I was the day of surgery. They have taken the tape off of my breast. I think my nipples look funny. One seems like the circle is off and the one is scarring a little. The lines look small so I'm happy about that. Overall, it is not too bad. I'm still swollen and bruised in breasts so I'm hoping that will go down soon as well.

Another thing I'm experiencing is those shooting pains through my breast. I was told that my nerves are waking up. That pain startled me!
