Okay, so I had my BBL on 8/22/13. I'm now 4 mths out and I'm still so unhappy with the results. I have also seen my PS and he agreed there was room for improvement and will do a revision. My only concern at this point is that he still is not listening to what I want. PS stated that he know wants to remove some of the fat that he injected into the top of my buttocks (shelf and hips) and add it to the lower portion (cheek) area (pics above). I asked if he could just use fat from my upper back and add more to my hips and cheeks to even it out. His response is that the fat will not live in the hips. I have seen this done on many Pt's on this site and others, so I am concerned that he just doesn't know how to do it. Should I get the revision or leave mediocre alone?

So I have been reading all of the comments and I'm glad it wasn't just me and my exceptions being too high. I though there was little to no change and now I'm convinced the job was totally botched. I sad b/c the P/S is so nice. but I should have known better. Anyway, I forgot to add the last set of updated before and after collage from the p/s office to show the final results now that I am totally healed. I definitely need a re-do.

I would be so upset!!!! DrJCurves in Suwanee, GA and Duran in the Dominican Republic have been the top two on my list for a while. It's unfortunate that none of the plastic surgeons in the U.S. know how to sculpt the booty like we want. That is why so many women decide to go to Duran, Yily or Baez in the D.R. I believe that we all have reservations about going to a third world country, but as you can see from a lot of the reviews on this website that those surgeons know exactly what they are doing. I am so sorry for you. My niece here in Cleveland went to a p.s. , she spent close to $6,000 to not even notice a difference either. The good part about is that she already had a huge butt but wanted more for whatever reason. I hope everything works out for you. Do some research on Duran, Yily and Baez and then go forward if you decide to have the sx again.

Dr. Schulman in NYC is great at BBL and liposculpting he's very skill with sculpting. Check out Booty4Real and others on here who had been worked on by him. I'm getting mine done on the 18th (praying for amazing dramatic results) . When I went for my consult I met a woman who was there for her post op visit and she looked amazing. It's one thing to see results on here , but it's a big difference to see them in person.

I would keep it real w ur PS letting him knw your desires of "PROJECTION OF AT LEAST 1200CC N ea CHEEK,AGGRESSIVE LIPO FROM MY ABDOMEN AND BRA FLANKS area or he keeps your orgl deposit and REFUND YOU 8,000!!!!! Or you will go to the board and i bet he will be allllllll ears then ALERT AND ATTENTIVE! GOOD LUCK SIS! I WANT THE BEST 4" U ...you DESERVE IT!

paper trail.. they protect their own. the ps that did my breast 20yrs ago is still practicing. and he had a big scandal after that about some surgeries and the wrong people in the room.....i would mention him to other ps when i wne to see about a revision they would not say anything but you can look at the faces and see that they knew something about him . this forum right here is the best way to out him...

Best of luck to you! Usually BBB follow up by the individual always hurt the PS below the belt but its time consuming! Talk is cheap just gets u just that ". Carzy looks"!

Thanks for reachinh out. Lack of our body type is exactly what I'm talking about. Most of us have hips which means more ccs need to be put in. He also didn't contour you. On top of everything he isn't listening or aware what you need. See if he can give you some money back so you can go elsewhere because he is going to lose a lot of future business with this post. We are not guinea pigs, we don't have money to give this doctors..W.T.F

Okay ladies, I did not post my story because I wanted to see if I could sue, or 'out' anyone. I'm not trying to make trouble I just want to know about my options and rights as far as me getting what I want from this surgery. As I stated in my review I think the Dr. is a very nice and a competent physician, I just think that he is unskilled at this type of procedure. I also think that he should have told me that he would not be able to give me what I wanted before my surgery so I could have gone elsewhere. I am now left feeling as though my money has been lost with no results and I would like to know if there is any recourse in my situation.

Hey, did you ask the doctor for his money back and tell him how you really feel? You may need to call some lawyers and ask, some will do a phone consult with you. What is on your consent paperwork and if you don't have it, then you will need to read it to see what it says so that you can explain it to the lawyers who you consult. A good revenge is to be open on your blog and move on with a doctor who cares. Some doctors are skilled but they just don't care because they have their money you pay prior to surgery. This rip off happens to women all the time wanting cosmetic surgery.

I never wanted to sue, but just some advice on how to get what I want from round 2 or if I should ask for a refund. And with the review I just read by robbed about Dr. Jimmerson, I think I take my chances with my PS and work with him to try and resolve my issue. I never had a problem with him or thought he "stole" my I just know now that he has not done enough BBL procedures to how to do what I wanted. After much discussion with my PCP as well as my cousin who is a medical Lawyer, I know that it is better to try a get what I want ant from round two with some added fund. Besides I would never want to ruin his reputation. His is very nice and competent just not in this specific procedure. Im gonna try and work it out. Im afraid it I try and go somewhere else things may be worse.

Good morning RS participants, wanted to update my current situation. I went to see my PCP today and spoke to him about my PS, and what actions to take. First, let me start by stating that I have been seeing my PCP for about 10yrs now and we have a down-to-earth Dr./Pt relationship. He also sees my husband, and we frequently call him in the office for unrelated questions pertaining to health. So this gives you a background on my family’s relationship with our PCP. He first agreed that the shape of my buttock was not "aesthetically" pleasing and that a revision "IS" in order. I let him know my concerns about how my PS wanted to go about the revision and these are the tips he gave me: He said 1) no need trying to get a refund if that was your plan; the PS has already spent the money. 2) Go in and really talk to him about what you want and don’t want to happen with the revision and see if the PS is comfortable with it. (The PS will only do what he is comfortable with). 3) See if for a little extra than the revision costs (‘free’ except for anesthesia fees) if he is willing to lipo additional areas and add that fat to the revision in the wanted areas. My PCP stated that the PS would most likely agree and have no issues on obliging you request, and it’s cheaper than spend thousands of dollars somewhere else with no guarantees. Pretty sound advice I would think. I plan to give this a try and see how things turn out. I will keep you guys posted.
