Surgery is 4 weeks away. Getting nervouse and addicted to Realself :) I am very active at the gym. Recently I have Been training with a personal trainer 3 days a week for the last 4 months. I eat healthy and Im hopping all this helps with my recovery. I'm having TT and breast lift no implants. Advice?

First of all, CONGRATS on your amazing weight loss success! You have DONE the hard part, for sure. BIGGEST part of recovery is REST and HYDRATION (water, water, water). Take your pain meds, don't be a hero. Pain slows healing. Also, take a stool softener when you take your pain MEDS, at least two SOFTENERS a day. You do NOT want to get constipated PO from a TT. Also, get some Milk of Magnesia in case you do get "stopped up". Also, make sure you eat a good amount of protein daily during the first 4-6 weeks PO. Keep us posted and best wishes for a safe surgery and speedy recovery. :-DSuzy

I have my pre op appt today and that puts my surgery at 20 days away!! I feel good. I will be posting some pre op pics later. Even though I lost 120lbs... I have a lot of skin that needs to be removed. I Can't stop thinking about what I might look like after this is all said and done. I search through Realself for woman who look like me (body type pre op) and I just hope I like what I get. I have total confidence and faith in the dr. It's just me. I don't know... Is this normal?

210. I've lost more inches in these last 4 months due to all the training I've been doing at the gym. But the weight seems to stay between 210 and 212. I'm 5'10".
