Dr. Lee and His Staff Are Wonderful!

I had a sagging chin and neck that I was very unhappy with. I knew that the only thing that would truly correct the problem was a lower face lift. I wanted to make sure I found a properly trained and experienced facial plastic surgeon. Dr. Lee definitely meets those requirements. Beyond that I had a wonderful experience from the time I first entered his office for a consultation. I must have looked nervous because a women (patient) in the waiting room shared with me how happy she was with Dr. Lee and told me that her sister was coming out from Chicago to see him. I presume that she was aware of the procedure I was considering. I was not offended as it was clear that she was the "after" to my "before" and I really did appreciate the encouragement. Dr. Lee and every member of his staff was courteous and patient. My first consultation with Dr. Lee included a description of the lower face lift procedure, as well as his pulling my skin and muscle tissue back so that I would have an idea of what to expect after surgery. It was like looking at myself from 20 years ago. I made my surgery reservation that day. There was a pre-op appointment with Dr. Lee and his patient care coordinator, Melody Valentine, two weeks before my surgery where necessary medical tests, authorizations and prescriptions were discussed and finalized. Additionally, Melody spent all the time I needed on the phone, prior to my surgery date, answering my questions, as well as giving me very practical and helpful tips for the day of surgery. Surgery day was amazing. Linda, Dr. Lee's surgical nurse, was very warm and personable. I had previously decided that I would prefer not be awake for the procedure (which included CO2 laser resurfacing). As I walked into the surgery room, with a team of three people (before Dr. Lee entered the room) and a lot of equipment, it looked intimating but I felt completely at ease (before any medication was administered). I was confident that I was in good hands. Dr. Lee called a few hours after my surgery to speak to me to check in and also report that my surgery went well. When I returned to the office the following day, I received an enthusiastic greeting from Linda. She also made it a point to say hello again at my one week follow up, when my stiches were removed. I was out showing my face to the world at about a week and a half. Before my one month follow up appointment I had to call the office because I applied too warm a wrap around my neck and blistered my skin. I called the office and sent a requested photo. Within a couple of hours I received a call back from the office with Dr. Lee's instructions for treatment. When I went to my one month, and final, appointment I felt a little sad that I would not be back. I am grateful that I have been able to have this procedure. It is now 6 weeks since my surgery and I am recovering well. I am so happy with the results!!! I don't broadcast that I have had a face lift, however, I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Lee to anyone I know who is considering facial plastic surgery.
