An update... FINALLY!!!!

Ok... Soooo it's definitely been a while but I'm finally giving you guys an update. I'm a very pleased with my results!!! So in the DR, After Robles evaluated me she gave me two options. Either a mini tummy tuck which I had to keep my original belly button and only a little stretch mark removal or she would attempt to do a full tummy tuck to remove as many stretch marks as possible and give me a new belly button but I would have to have a t-incision because I didn't have enough loose skin. So her and I both agreed that a full would be my best option. Depending on how my scar heals I would be open to getting a tattoo to camouflage the scar. The surgery itself was smooth! Recovery went pretty good as well. I experienced no real pain just discomfort and the infamous back issues!!! Being hunched over is honestly the worst part. I had my drains in for approximately 11 days. They were out before I left the DR. The plane ride home sucked because I was sooooo uncomfortable the trip was about 7.5 hours all together so that was not fun. But I was so happy to be back home. The recovery house was good. The women were all so sweet and extremely helpful. Food was pretty decent, some nights however I couldn't eat what they cooked but they usually just made me something else to eat which was awesome. Once I got home it was definitely tiresome. Had to go back to work, cook, clean, etc. I just took it easy and did things little by little. I started walking pretty straight around 3 weeks and I'm now 100%. I've started walking up hills near my house and I'm doing pretty well. I'll start going back to my kickboxing class on Tuesday so pray for me! Lol. I still experience swelling although it gets better by the day. I wear my faja sometimes because it's too hot most days and I got tired if being constrained! I plan on going bikini shopping soon and will post some pics afterwards. If you guys have any specific questions let me know. I will also give you guys an update of my mom after I get some pictures from her so you guys can see how she turned out.

Flatside!!!!!!!!!

Ok, so here we are 4 days post op. Everything is going good. Healing very well. Today all of us girls even went out to the salon and got our hair done and some got mani's and pedi's. We were so happy just to get out because it can get very very boring being cooped up in the recovery house. All the workers here are sweet and really helpful. We went to see Robles yesterday for our 3day post op checkup and both my mom and I are healing very well and fast. My mom had to go to the oxygen chamber twice but I think it has dramatically helped her lipo bruising go away. I'm not experiencing any real pain just back pain from walking hunched over. Up until this morning my tt incision has been numb hadn't really felt anything. When I woke up this morning the incision kind of burned but nothing intolerable. I'm a bit sore from the lipo on my sides but again it's definitely tolerable. I even sat on the edge of the bathtub today and used the handheld shower head and washed. I couldn't stand not cleaning myself. Lol. But avoided as much as possible not getting my incision wet. Robles is very particular with her patients aftercare and doesn't play!!! She makes sure we get woken up in the middle of the night for the nurse to rub Lioton on our bruises and swollen areas. We didn't let the nurse do it one night and when we went to see Robles the next day she was on us about it. With that said didn't get much sleep last night because we had to wake up every 4 hours!!! :( I'll post some more pics as soon as I can.
