3 weeks post op and still getting better! Lipo...

3 weeks post op and still getting better! Lipo discomfort outweighs any of the pain of the TT or BA. Patience is definitely important during this process. The swelling causes some tightness but basically my entire abdomen is still numb so there is no pain. It is easy to forget that 3 weeks is not a very long time in the grand scheme of healing and preparing for a lifetime result! Be kind to yourself and allow your body to take the time to heal that it needs.

11 days PO-Highly recommend these procedures and Dr. T & staff!!!

OMG!! Hard to believe 11 days has passed already! I ended up with 325 cc implant, lipo to full back, flanks, upper tummy and TT. Surgery was 3/2 at 7:00 a.m. Done by 10:30 and home by 12:30. Photos are 4 days PO. (will post more as progress continues) The day of surgery I felt terrible due to meds/anesthetic. By 6 p.m. I felt like a switch had turned on and felt SOOO much better. I highly suggest that you take anti-nausea meds as soon as you are able even if you don't feel sick. You really don't want to throw up, sneeze, cough or take a deep breath for a day or two after surgery. Pain level was very manageable. I walked around a bit the evening of my surgery which helped and I took full dose of pain meds for first day. More walking and 1/2 dose for second day and then only muscle relaxers at night since then. By the second day, the pain is more a soreness than real pain. I experienced really bad bruising (as you can see from photos), swelling and really intense nipple pain on left side. Most of the nipple pain has subsided but still a little sensitive. Drains removed 10 days PO. Today I am finally starting to see shape and the swelling has reduced to about 3 mos. pregnant from 5 mos! The hardest part is just being uncomfortable. Showering sucks, sleeping sitting up in a recliner, sore back from walking bent over (this hurts more than any part of the surgery) trying to wash hair in sink and the itchy, compression garment!!! Now I am not in any pain, just stiff, lower back pain (still walking bent over) and tightness in belly from both swelling and TT. Also feel random little "needle pricks" internally which I assume is just healing taking place.

Highly recommend: walker, toilet riser, shower seat, recliner and tank top or cami under compression garment.

Getting ready for long awaited removal of excess...

Getting ready for long awaited removal of excess skin from weight loss! I can't ever remember having a waist so it will be very interesting and exciting! Mixed emotions between nervous and excited! Dr. Taneja and staff have made me feel very comfortable. 3 girlfriends have had TT & BA by Dr. Taneja as well. He is awesome
