The dr was happy with progress and he wants to wait for at least a year before doing a scar revision. He injected some meds in the scar and advised me to keep using silicone sheets.

Hi newme001, You look fabulous. I had my tt in sep 2011 and I had some hypertrophic scarring on my bb. I went to see my surgeon a year later and he pretty much reconstructed my bb in less than 15 min. I had to have stitches for 7-10 days. It looks like a beauty now and I can't be happier. Don't worry about your bb it can be corrected.

Hi Mary, my surgeon pretty much did a scar revision on on my bb in dec 2012 at no charge. I know how you feel, I could feel my scar when I rubbed my tummy with a shirt on. I really didn't look while he was doing the procedure but I do know he had all the surgery tools out and did some major cutting to remove the scars. I didn't need any numbing injections since I was still numb from my 2011 tt. Once he finished cutting he stitched my bb up, placed a bandage over it and told me to return in a week to have stitches removed. I am so happy with my new bb it looks normal. I regret that I didn't take before pictures.
Also, the silicone sheets did nothing for my bb. It looked just like the one above prior to my revision. My surgeon is listed on here if you would to email him to see exactly how he corrected my bb. He is pretty nice and willing to answer questions
Your belly button looks similar to mine. I am so stressed about the scar around it. Do you think you will have a revision or are the silicone sheets working?
My surgeon said he will do the revision after 1 year - thats in Oct or Nov. Right now he injected meds so the scar can stop growing. The sheets are not doing anything for me.

Belly Button - needs fixing I believe

My doctor has been injecting some meds in here so that the scarring can reduce. Dont know, I dont like the way it looks. My doctor is supportive so lets see.
