I had 2 treatments and the first was set for...
I had 2 treatments and the first was set for pigmentation. I had swelling for the firts two days which was helped with ice packs within the first hour and benadryl (slept with head elevated. I had the little "waffle" dot pattern show up after 2 days, but eventually sloughed off. The pigmentation seems to get a little worse. After 3 weeks saw no improvement. The 2nd treatment was for texture and seemed more intense. i was swollen for 3-4 days and developed what looked like bad acne on my chin & lower 1/2 of my face, which lasted another 3-4 days. I had to wear heavy make-up to cover the bumps - tried not to go out much that week. I decided I wasn't going to do any more treatments (had pre-paid for 4) but before I could call, the clinic called me to tell me they were having problems with the laser and would refund my money. At least they were honorable.
Bottom line - i saw NO improvement in either texture, wrinkles or pigment - if anything, I think I have more pigmentation.
DON'T DO THIS TREATMENT - IT ISN"T WORTH IT!
As for the clinic - i thought they were very good - also gave me a complimentary facial - which was the best one I ever had - just bad equipment! Palomar 1540 StarLux
