Septo/rhinoplasty

So I had surgery fri morning, I had a pretty tough nose, my doctor said after surgery:| ...I decided to have nose surgery due to an assault 10 yrs ago I was hit in the nose by an abusive boyfriend I had out of high school, my nose never looked the same after that, I had to go to the hospital and yep of course it was broken they never set it back in place at the hospital, sent me home with pain pills now 10 yrs later after 2 kiddos and being married to the love of my life decided to have it fix as it has since been a reminder of my assault every time I look in the mirror, plus it looked broken I hated having the nose that wasn't mine one I wasn't supposed to have my nose was pretty before it was broken.

Well I guess my nose was worse than I even thought my right side was completely collapsed /twisted on the inside my doctor told me he didn't think I could breath on that side, ..... soo n-e-ways let's go back to my consult,my ps and I decided to straighten bridge, remove a very small hump,and refine my tip, as it was rounded and some cartilage built up from the hit to the nose.. Had my digital images done of what we could do from before and after really loved it made my appt had my surgery, woke up to my doc telling me I had a tough nose as he didn't know until he opened me up what damage was in their good thing he's not only a ps but an awesome ent..he then says "I think your gonna like it," well how bout... your gonna love it, right? Went home had packing in my nose went back next morning to get it out only to find out I only get the right packing out my left needs to stay in till mon :( so my surgery was fri morning and had to have packing until mon afternoon yeah it sucked!! finally he took it out amazing!!!!

I can breath like I never could before most probably because I forgot what it was like to breath through a nose that had not been through trauma, any who now that was amazing (to breath normal ) ..went home still cast/tape on my nose really swollen but it looks like my columnar is crooked to one side like its being pulled to one side making me nervous and I seem to have some nostril show as I didn't really be before surgery my columnar looks lined up with my mouth perfect, but seems like it is crooked when looking straight at it and from the bottom... maybe since I have my cast on and the packing on one side longer ? I don't know but I'm really scared about it staying like this, it dosent look right to me anyone else have this problem or had...my surgery was fri the july 12 and I'm 3 1/2 to 4 days post op ..ahhhhh sorry for no puncuations lil tired still have some pain and still taking my pain pills ...any advice or comments about the nostril show and crooked columnar would be appreciated Ty .ill upload photo in a bit

Columnar is becoming straighter in just a day :) still some nostril show..with the cast,tape,and swelling Still very much present I'm confident it will subside once the swelling goes down:)
