Some people are good at what they do, some are great, and some are truly gifted. Dr. Kosins without a doubt falls into that last category, and I believe he was born to be a plastic surgeon. I am SO happy and grateful to the universe that I found him.I saw two highly reputable Newport Beach plastic surgeons about getting a breast augmentation and rhinoplasty before meeting Dr. Kosins. Neither of them felt right for me. I did some more research and stumbled upon Dr. Kosins' website and upon looking at his impressive work, I thought wow, this might be the guy. When I had my consult with him, I was so sure of it that I booked my surgeries with him that same day. He is so knowledgeable and down to earth, and everything he said just clicked with me and made perfect sense. He definitely has that "it" factor that makes you trust him, and for good reason. Amy took care of the financial details for me, and Judy, the office nurse, gave me all of my pre-op instructions. They are both wonderful. I have to give special props to Judy, because I have worked with her more in this process and she is so much fun and so good at what she does. I have heard stories from friends about going to see plastic surgeons who have aloof, snooty office staff who ruin their experience and you definitely won't find that here.I had a wide, ethnic nose, which Dr. Kosins has extensive experience with. I also wanted breast implants. Dr. Kosins suggested a small-ish, conservative size because of my small frame and active lifestyle which is exactly what I wanted. Going into surgery, I had virtually no nerves because I knew his plan and I totally trusted him and knew everything was going to be great. What I didn't know was how great it was going to be! When I took my first peak at my breasts after surgery, I couldn't believe how natural and gorgeous they looked already, just a day or two out of surgery. I had zero bruising and very little soreness or pain in my breasts during my recovery. Rhinoplasty is a bit more hardcore, never any pain, just discomfort and swelling. But holy Jesus let me tell you, I saw my nose for the first time today and I was BLOWN away. I wasn't 100% sure how I was going to feel upon seeing my new nose for the first time, because it's such a distinctive thing on your face that you've had your whole life, but I was so excited when I saw it I wanted to start jumping up and down. If I am this happy with it the day of cast removal, I can't imagine how happy I am going to be with it once all the swelling goes down.To sum it up, if you are looking for the best plastic surgeon, with the best technique, an impeccable aesthetic, a great, non-egotistical personality and a friendly, engaging office staff, look no further. Doctor Kosins is the man!!
