The neck lift and platysmaplasty so expertly performed by Dr. Nichter completely
took away the "turkey neck" or "wattle" that was bothering me so much. I am
extremely pleased with the result, and I'm so glad I decided to take action and
have the problem corrected. All my expectations/goals were met!

Before undergoing my neck lift and platysmaplasty
with Dr. Nichter, I had been told by another doctor
that my neck muscle (the platysma) had come apart
(this is a fairly common occurrence as time goes by)
and I'd have to go to a plastic surgeon to fix it.
I remember being scared by the thought of plastic
surgery, but I knew I couldn't stand what had
happened to my neck (a "wattle") any longer.
I searched and searched on the computer--if I had
to have plastic surgery I wanted to find a doctor
with extensive experience and all the right credentials.
That's how I found Dr. Larry Nichter at Pacific Center
for Plastic Surgery. Barbara, the patient coordinator,
made me feel comfortable and welcome from the
first phone call. I genuinely enjoyed meeting her and
Dr. Nichter at the consultation. I think communication
is very important with plastic surgery procedures, and
Dr. Nichter is an outstanding communicator (who also
listens), and I felt that I was not going to find a better
plastic surgeon anywhere. During the pre-op
appointment, Kirsten--who was going to assist Dr.
Nichter during surgery--gave me all of the instructions
I was going to need and discussed my prescriptions
with me. Like Barbara, Kirsten is great at her job,
professional, and caring. The office is beautiful and
well-run, and my procedure could be performed
right there in the same building. After the operation,
there wasn't much bruising or swelling. By two weeks
after the surgery, the incisions and bruising had
healed. Dr. Nichter and I were both extremely pleased
with the result. The "turkey neck" that was bothering
