I had gynecomastia growing up and Im sure it left...

I had gynecomastia growing up and Im sure it left plenty of emotional scars but I can proudly say I did everything I could to make it better. I trained 6 days a week, ran 30miles a week on top of playing football and having a perfect diet. I was determined to fix this problem and in any other person without an actual gland underneath their chest I would’ve reached my goal a lot sooner, but this wasn’t the case with me. I worked out waiting for the day when I’d be happy with what I saw in the mirror. This condition is probably worse for your mental state of being than anything else. I was fighting for a day that might never come at least not from my efforts alone.
I needed surgery, but years of consistent training didn’t disappoint either. I achieved a physique I would have never believed was possible for myself….. but unfortunately I didn't get to enjoy that state for very long…. The next day I was on the side of the street coughing out my own blood, laughing and wondering if this would be the end for me. I was in an accident and I was in pieces, both my legs broken, both my ankles broken, my hip fractured, my shoulder dislocated, my wrist broken, my kidney was off to one side, had a tear in my bladder, and my spine was fractured. The sense of urgency I had all my life finally began to make sense, I had pushed myself so hard all along so that I could live… my strength saved me. Four major surgeries later and being the competitive lunatic that I am I thought why not go for a fifth surgery and get my Gynecomastia taken care of. Alone in my bed, in sweet, blissful agony I searched Google for potential surgeons. I clicked the “I’m feeling lucky” button and… I found Dr. Cruise.
I was up and walking 2 years later and took a taxi to Newport Beach to my consultation. My recovery and the ride there are stories in themselves, but I’ll spare the details. All in all I feel so fortunate to have found Dr. Cruise and his amazing staff, I really do. Much like my days in physical therapy, I felt the same warmth and kindness walking through their doors. Dr. Cruise as expected was very knowledgeable and covered all the bases in our first meeting. I felt confident leaving his office knowing exactly what it was I had and how it could be remedied. The staff, Cristin, Jennifer, Jessica, and all the others (I apologize for not remembering all of your names) were a complete pleasure and made the process and surgery go so smoothly. It’s just a great environment.... maybe it’s the America Funniest home videos played throughout the office that adds to the feeling, I’m not sure (: … I’m grateful and definitely feel lucky to have found this office.. If you’re looking to have this surgery done… Really, you can’t go wrong with Dr. Cruise and his staff. Good luck. Hope your results are as great as mine!
