Long Awaited Rhinoplasty.... 1.5.2015. Newport Beach CA

Hi all! Hope everyones preparing or recovering well! Wanted to update and say that I'm feeling back to normal! energy comes and goes but thats pretty normal anyways in my day to day life. the swelling has gone down a lot more but still there. I keep my tape on basically 24-7 except for the time i change it each night. I left it off one or two days recently and the swelling definitely came without it on! Like a phantom bump where there was one before. My dr said thats to be expected obviously. Will just have to be patient and wait out this limbo stage! It wouldn't let me uploadd pics from my phone for a few days. Finally at my computer. I can already tell a big difference. Frontal view is super wide right now but thats to be expected and the tip will go down as well with time. I've been keeping my tape on all the time, just changing it in the mornings. I asked my dr if this is ok and he said sure. He recommended taping and night and when I'm at home but honestly I don't care if people see me with tape on my nose if it'll get me sooner to my final result. I totally understand a business woman or if you're in front of clients/collegues etc but I am a SAHM so taping all of the time works out for me. I feel loads better day by day. Energy is coming back. Trying to avoid salty foods and eating healthy. Still taking Arnica, applying arnica cream, taking the trammel and my vitamedica recovery multivitamins. I've liked taking them so much that I ordered their anti-agains multi to start after I consume this round of their clinical support multi. I am really sensitive when it comes to vitamins and get sick easily. their tablets have little to no after tastes and are very easy to swallow. I also haven't had any nausea which is rare but I've also been diligent on taking them with food so maybe thats why. Anyways thats all my update for now. Happy healing! xoxo

Ok WOW. Feel like my worlds changed just with those splints out!! I cannot believe those suckers were inside my nose. Hurt a little bit coming out but not bad. Got my cast off my nose today too. He shot a little steroid in the bridge and showed me hoe to tape. The tape is flesh colored I don't mind wearing it all of the time really if it'll help get the swelling handled faster. Went to get my nails done at the mall. Something relaxing. Haven't been out of the house for a week very odd. No one looked at my like I was an alien or anything so that good. And even a nice man gave me a compliment. Made my day after feeling like a crazy bag lady this past week. Here are some before and afters. Was at My daughters dance studio and they all said it looked really really nice. So that's good! I can breathe fully through my nose now and smell things too so odd. Still breathing through my mouth from habit! Not sure if I can sleep flat now? I'll probably sleep elevated tonight and then call dr office tomorrow to confirm. Anyways feeling really great after all the junk is gone! Onward and upward now :). What a week can do!
