In February of this year, I turned 65. I had been talking about “my neck” for what seemed like years – unhappy that it continued to sag a little more each year (hereditary, thanks Daddy!). When I saw the candid birthday photos, although I loved them because they were with family and it was a happy time, I decided that was it and I needed to do something that would make me feel better about me. All the makeup and skin preparations in the world hadn’t helped, and believe me, I invested a ton in all kinds of ‘guaranteed firming creams and potions’ that never worked no matter how diligent and faithful I was about applying them.
In March of this year, I signed up to attend a Lite Lift informational event. I am so glad I did! I took my husband with me so he would know what I was planning and have input. At the event, I was able to sit right next to and talk with people who had had the Lite Lift done, and so pleased to see them up close and hear their personal experiences. Both doctors gave a thorough overview of the procedures available, then the office staff introduced themselves. Seeing people, putting faces with names and roles was so good for me.
At the end of the session, I decided the Lite Lift was what I wanted to do. I made arrangements to go in for a meeting with Stephanie, the consultant assigned to me at the office, then a meeting with Dr. Nichter. I had always wanted my neck to be lifted, but I didn't want a huge invasive full face-lift like we've all seen and read about. I liked everything I heard and learned about the Lite Lift. I wasn't encouraged or told to do more than I was prepared to do, plus I was happy to learn I could address the lines between my eyebrows with Botox done prior to the surgery. I scheduled my surgery for April 9, and had the Botox done 1 week prior. After my surgery, I was up feeling great, and back to work so soon!
It has now been 3 months since my surgery, and I am so excited with the new me. My daughters and my husband are thrilled with the results, and it doesn't get any better than that! I look refreshed, more youthful, but I don’t look like I’ve had something extreme done – I just look better, more like I looked years ago. Most important, I still look like me, just younger and happier!
Dr. Nichter is warm, compassionate, and very skilled. Everyone at the office is so friendly and helpful. I encourage anyone wanting a fresher, younger look to call Dr. Nichter's office, and if they have an informational event scheduled, do go. I’m so pleased I went and that I had the Lite Lift done.
