For about six years in my fifties, I searched out plastic surgeons that I could trust with my face. I met/interviewed about eight surgeons. None of them rocked my boat. Not to say that they were all bad, just not what I was looking for. I'm a designer and have a very keen sense of design. I wanted to look natural…and fabulous ;-) My dermatologist suggested I go see Dr. Sadati, in Newport Beach. Bingo. The office staff is wonderful (shout out to Kay and Kristin), and Dr. Sadati does fantastic work. His work is beautiful and natural and reasonably priced. I love these guys. I've had several procedures done with Dr. Sadati. I've been in love with them all. For my 62nd birthday I got fractional CO2 laser resurfacing. The procedure itself was not painful. Your face is numbed. You are red for awhile, though. I was glad I got it done in October. It was nice to hibernate for the winter, outside of the sun's rays. The procedure tightened my skin, plumped it up and made my skin baby smooth. The lines around my mouth and eyes are still gone eight months later. I'm happy happy happy with the results. My only warning is that my skin took four months to fully recover. I had faint red blotches that slowly disappeared over about three-four months. The reason I post this is if you're getting fractional CO2 laser resurfacing for a wedding (I was) give yourself about six months. Other than that, go for it. It's a great non-surgical option to give your face a beautiful youthful refreshening. My friends and family are always commenting on how gorgeous my skin looks.
Congratulations on your successful treatment. Do you have any before and after photos to share with the community, we would love to see your results.
