Fat Graft Revision

Fat grafting in New Orleans la left...
WORTH IT$9,000
Fat grafting in New Orleans la left my face looking distorted, intense, older, and more masculine. I found Dr. montegut on realself and called about revision. I live in Louisiana so I sent photos via email and by the afternoon I was able to personally speak with him. He answered all my questions. Over the course of a week I called his office with more questions and he always personally answered my questions. He also put me in contact with a previous patient similar to my case to ease my worry. I scheduled the procedure the following week and flew out to California. Dr. montegut removed fat from most of the areas and added filler in other areas to balance out my profile. He removed the fat via cannula aspiration from my eyebrows, tear troughs, cheeks, nasolabial folds, and jawline. He then added filler to my lateral cheeks and chin to balance out my profile. He performed this procedure under local anesthesia with conscious sedation. He actually came to the resort to check on me following my procedure. His staff and nurse were excellent as well. I couldn't have asked for a better experience or result.

Just would like to note that even
Just would like to note that even the best surgeons don't always have a good patient outcome which was my case. I'm just thankful there was a physician such as Dr. Montegut that could help me with this revision.

To be honest, the difference is very subtle. With the fat, you had more angular and aristocratic facial features, after the removal, you still look great, more a more ordinary look.

Yes very subtle. I may need another revision on the fat removal I'm very early in the recovery phase of the fat removal. I just posted picture to help others decide if they would like to go through with revision.

Beauty is a very subjective thing. In my opinion, you look way better with the fat graft. It gave you a more distinguished look, with "broken lines" sort of facial features, like actresses Capucine, Audrey and Kathrine Hepburn. Sometimes, we tend to be over analytical about our changes, even the positive ones. My own experience is that it takes times to become accustomed to the new way that you look. Whoever did the fat transfer, did it well.

Well I do appreciate your opinion, however i didn't look anything like myself. But I do appreciate your honesty. Have a good day.

I'm kind of laughing to myself on your comments though. Basically, you're telling me that my current face which looks closer to the face God gave me is not distinguished or positive. And that is completely okay, it's your opinion. I didn't ask for it, but I'll take it. I'm a strong girl, so those kinds of comments really don't affect me. However, making comments like that to some people who are vulnerable could be detrimental. Maybe think about that prior to posting from now on. Once again, have a good day.

The moment you decided to post anything here, you should expect an array of opinions, not only those that make you happy. I did not mean to be obnoxious or anything like that . You are a very beautiful woman, but you have to learn the not everybody see things the way you do. Unfortunately, some people seek for insincere reassurance rather than an honest opinion. Too sad.

I'm not real sure why you feel the need to keep commenting on my post. You stated your opinion several times. I know, you think I look better with the fat in. Now if you don't mind, go find someone else to give your sincere opinion to. Thank you.

The areas I've noticed the biggest chance thus far is my eyebrows don't tent over my eyes anymore and so that makes my face look less intense and my jawline is less masculine. I still have tenderness in my cheeks so there is still some residual swelling there but it is easier for me to smile. With the fat, I had difficulty smiling due to the large amount of fat in my cheeks.

Yes, you do. You were beautiful with the fat graft but definitely much MORE beautiful now!
July 12, 2017
Agree...way better now!

I had a large amount of fat in my cheeks so when i smiled it pulled out and up on my nose. Following the fat removal, that effect was less intense.

Chokay, please ignore comments like this. People never cease to amaze me with thier ignornance. First, you look more feminine now, which is a look universally sought and preferred by men and most women. Second who cares about looking aristocrat? I take beauty over that any day. Lastly, you look more like yourself. No one can understand the emotional distress of waking up with a lost identity. I've also had an over aggressive fat graft and felt the same as you a loss of identity and loss of my delicate features. I personally much prefer your restored self and also think you look younger without the bulk.

I did no mean to be obnoxious and offensive. That is just what I think, it does not necessarily mean that everybody has to agree with my sense of aesthetic. She looks great both ways, but in my opinion better with the fat enhancement. That's all.

I'm not sure what you said? Fatherland is the only one that commented with a negative remark that I read.

You look amazing ! I also had a facial fat transfer and I want a revision I ruined my soft and feminine features and regret it so much I guess was just hoping you could tell me how long you have to wait after surgery to have it taken out? Your response is greatly appreciated

You look beautiful! Love the results and the way your cheekbones look. I'm currently looking into fat transfer due to a very bad result from buccal fat removal. Thanks for posting this.

Because I'm very interested in fat grafting as a fix for a dent after buccal fat removal
