Slight pulled look went away

WORTH IT$10,000
I posted the above review, saying I had a pulled look on one side. Three days later, it miraculously disappeared. The tightness and the numbness also subsided greatly around the 3 1/2 week mark. I am now 4 weeks post op, and I have a little left under the jawline but much better. Last week I bought some chewable arnica tablets at Trader Joe's (Brand is Boiron Arnicare tablets) which seemed to break up the stiffness a little. I should have bought them ahead of time. But, I am very satisfied with the results and would give Dr. Sadati the highest marks.
I forgot to say in the first review that I wish I had been more prepared regarding what I could eat afterwards. You really can't chew the first week due to tightness. I think I existed on applesauce the first three days and ate a lot of cottage cheese the rest of the week. The day of the surgery I said I had soup for afterwards, but one of his staff said they don't recommend that because of the high sodium content. So, I didn't really give enough thought to food. The upside is that I lost 6 pounds because of the chewing difficulty, so I'm not complaining. Overall, a very great experience that was a breeze.

So glad to hear that! Hooray!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I am planning on going to Dr. Sadati for a lower face lift and neck lift but I am really scared of having surgery done. I am worried mainly about the pain post op. Is it really not as bad as some people have said it is?
Sorry-just saw this. I wouldn't call it pain. There is definitely tightness and numbness but not pain. I found it hard to eat for the first three days because of the tightness. But, really had no pain, even the day of.
Thanks for getting back to me. I really appreciate your response. I made my appointment for the surgery on May 31st and I am very nervous but I really want to do this. I look good for my age, but I can look a lot better. It's not about age, it's about being the best I can be at any age.

Actual surgery was a complete breeze. Absolutely...

Actual surgery was a complete breeze. Absolutely no pain, very little bruising or swelling. I didn't even need the pain medication after leaving the office. I could hear everything that was happening and being said during the surgery but didn't feel anything. I was expecting some kind of pain during the recovery, but there really wasn't any.
I had the procedure on Monday and went out to dinner Friday night and worked both Saturday and Sunday. If I posted photos two days post op you would be amazed and not believe I had just had surgery unless the photo was taken from the side. (PM me and I will send to you...)
You need hair to cover the incision scars for the first couple of weeks. I'm three weeks out now and so far, pretty satisfied. From the front, NO complaints. From the side, both are pretty good with my hair down. My right side looks a little pulled in a small area, from about two inches from my ear to about three inches from my mouth. I am hoping that in time that goes away. I'm very self conscious about it right now. None of his before and after photos have that, so I am hoping it is temporary. I was a pretty saggy case, though, so maybe I can't expect perfection. I will update this in a few weeks and let you know.
Dr. Sadati is all of the wonderful things people are saying he is. I don't think you'd find a more kind doctor. He does seem to genuinely care. I would certainly recommend him to anyone having this procedure. Today I saw some photos on this site of a women in another state that had a facelift 9 days ago and felt bad for her. It looked like a long recovery and she still looked really alien. I wish she would have done this because she also looked extremely uncomfortable. I can honestly say there was no pain or discomfort. Truthfully, the worst part is just numbness and tightness in the earlobes, behind the ears, and below the jaw and chin. That is starting to subside now that I'm three weeks out. It isn't painful but you feel kind of stiff and confined for the first couple of weeks.
