I've always had very asymmetric eyelids. It was very visible, so I finally decided to seriously research doctors in my area. In pretty sure everone here knows the drill for this part (reading reviews, cyberstalking lol, cross-checking information, shortlisting surgeons, consultation, decision).
I finally decided on Dr. Vidor after meeting with him in person. He seemed confident in perforing the procedure and was very thorough with his explanation of the results and what my realistic expectations should be. We also discussed under what circumstances the procedure would have to be redone.
My procedure was done yesterday (12/19), in office and with local anesthesia, and I am feeling just fine. Some discomfort and blurry vision, but no pain. I'm very excited to see the final results, but as for now here are the photos!!

Day 2

I feel absolutely no pain, only discomfort. I only take a Tylenol at bed time, but during the day only ice for 15 min every two hours. I already notice the difference, even though my eyelids are still very swollen. Excited about the results!

Keep us posted. It does look scary but I hope everything turns out to be alright.

Glad things are going well. Are you taking arnica or bromelain? That will help with the swelling and bruising. Might think about that.

No pain, only discomfort.. The only problem is that resting for this long gets pretty boring, but when I start moving doing things I notice the swelling goes up and the throbbing starts..
I'm super excited to see the final results!!!

Did the numbing injections hurt?
It really was not that bad, although because it is the only thing we actually "feel" it's what hurt the most.
Best of luck to you! :)
