A few years ago, I had a fat transfer done under my eyes by another physician. She completely overfilled me and I ended up with huge fat bubbles under my eyes. I went back several times and was injected with kenalog, but this only seemed to bring it down a little bit and temporarily. For the next few years, I searched high and low for a doctor who could fix my botched fat transfer, but to no avail. I was either told it couldn't be done or that it would require an invasive and expensive procedure with no guarantee of good results. I was starting to accept the fact that I would be stuck looking like a freak for the rest of my life, or at least until I could save up a ridiculous amount of money. Then, in December of 2016, I finally found out about Dr. Montegut through a RealSelf review. I called his office right away and was able to book a consultation for the first week of January. Dr. Montegut told me he could help me and explained two approaches: a conservative one and a more invasive one. He recommended the conservative method for me since I'm still so young. He was honest and told me that there's a good chance it will take more than one procedure to get it just right, which I was fine with. After almost 4 years of living with a botched face, I was just happy to have found someone who was willing to help me. I booked the procedure for the very next week. And let me tell you... immediately after the procedure, I could already tell a huge difference. Even with the post-op swelling, my eyes looked ten times better than they did before! It's now been almost a month and there's still a little bit of swelling and tenderness, but my face is looking really good and I know this isn't even the final result. I don't even think I'm going to need the second procedure! I am so beyond happy with the results, and the fact that Dr. Montegut was able to accomplish this without cutting my face open is just icing on the cake. He truly is a miracle worker, and I strongly recommend him to anyone who is in the same position I was. My only wish is that I would have found him much sooner.
