1 month after coolsculpting...

So it's been about 27 days and the pain is gone. Many people report no pain during the procedure, but oddly I have a super high pain tolerance and it was the worst thing I've done! But I do see results for sure! And supposedly it takes up to 2 months so hopefully there will be even more of a change. I have some minor numbness but my lower abdomen is definetly shrinking. My tummy is "soft" which does not change. It won't tighten skin, so while you may lose fat, you should beware that if you are soft and squishy, you will still be soft and squishy. I don't know if an "after" picture would capture my fat loss or not. But I'll post one next month. I did go in to the office to consider continuing coolsculpting on my love handles, which I already paid for, but I think I will transfer the payment toward vanquish. So I have to wait the 2 months or I am just trying to melt the same fat cells I already froze. Vanquish costs a bit more, but is not supposed to be as painful. It also does a broader area at one time. People with a LOT of money could really benefit. I really think that coolsculpting and vanquish are revolutionary based on my experience. Lose fat, for real, without diet or exercise??? Yep.

At 47, I am not really overweight, I am 5'8" and weigh 133. (I could benefit from losing about 8 pounds I think). But I've gotten soft and pudgy around the abdomen, love handles and some back fat. I decided to try coolsculpting in Newport Beach, Ca with a plan to do the abdomen (large applicator $600) and each love handle ($400 each) all in one day. I have a very high tolerance for pain. I gave birth to 3 children with no medication of any kind. I did the abdomen first, and it was THE MOST PAINFUL thing I've experienced since childbirth. It felt like my lungs were being sucked into the vacuum applicator. I stuck it out for the hour, and it did get better after 10 minutes, but was still very painful. When they removed it, it actually hurt worse again for about 5 minutes. I literally felt dizzy and shaky. I could not do the love handles the same day. Day 6 and my stomach is oddly numb yet in pain from the inside out at the same time. After doing some after the fact research, I am thinking maybe I should have done Vanquish (which the same office I went to offers). Reports are NO PAIN, much more immediate results, but more expensive. And coolsculpting reports 20% fat reduction while Vanquish reports 40%. During coolsculpting, the girl even said that I'd probably want to do the procedure a second time to get the results I was expecting. What!?! That doubles the price and there is NO WAY I'm dealing with that pain again! I'm open to suggestions if anyone has done both. I go back tomorrow to decide whether to do coolsculpting to my sides, or wait the 2 months it takes for fat cells to dissolve then follow up with vanquish.

No results yet...too early. I didn't actually meet the Doctor (dermatologist). Her office staff did the procedure.
