3 Months Post Op Pics
In August my 2 year augmentation anniversary will be here and I am still in awe of how I look. Looking back at my before pictures makes me wish I could have done this sooner but the after pics and how I currently feel is just amazing. They feel natural, look natural and I can run around with my son with absolutely no issues. Life changer for the better!
Almost 1 Year
Almost a year ago in August I got my breast augmentation. Here's an update to how my year has been. After my first post my new boobs have had zero issues. No pain or anything. My boobs look absolutely amazing. I feel like shopping for clothes is a lot less stressful and this summer I got to wear a bikini (last year I was still healing). I have never in my life felt so comfortable in a bikini. The scars are gone. My boyfriend had to look real hard to even find them. I used the recommended cream and I'm glad I did. I am able to jump in a pool and do any activity I want. I just had my 1 year appointment with Dr. Nitcher and he said they look great and they can't be any softer. I took good care of them and I don't need to come back for a check up unless I have questions or concerns. He took my 1 year after pics and I'm more than 100% happy with my decision. Dr. Nitcher picked the perfect size for my body and just overall did an excellent job. I highly recommend him.
I have wanted a breast augmentation since I was in...
I have wanted a breast augmentation since I was in 6th grade. I know that's young but I wasn't blessed with boobs. I could tell you the exact moment when I decided I wanted them back then. Over the years it never was off my mind. I got married and my husband at the time (almost 12 yr marriage) wasn't too thrilled about me getting them. I was still determined to have them one day. My boobs before were b's and after breastfeeding they felt empty and flat on top. I couldn't ever find a push up bra that would make these things look good. I am 5'8" 125lbs and I felt like my body was never proportioned. I wanted the top of my body to match the bottom. I decided to wait till after I had kids (my son is 9) and I am completely done having kids and divorced. My 35 birthday was coming up and I decided it was time to get the boobs I always wanted for my birthday present to myself. What was I even waiting for? I have a few friends that had breast augmentation's and one friend had absolutely perfect boobs and I couldn't even see her scars. My other friends I didn't think they looked that great. She told me how amazing Dr. Nichter was and how friendly he was. I decided to call his office. I scheduled a consultation with Cyndee and she was so nice and answered my questions without rushing me of the phone. I ended up having more questions and spoke to Ella. OMG Ella is probably one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life. I brought my mom with me to my consultation so she would be comfortable with my decision and not have to worry about me since she would be taking me to surgery and would be taking care of me after. I brought pictures of what I wanted and chose pics with women that have close to the same body shape I have. I wanted to be able to show the doctor realistic pictures. I met with Stephanie first and she gave me my options. I wanted silicone under the muscle so she showed me textured and smooth implants and I wanted the incision under the breasts. She explained the process and I was absolutely comfortable already. When I met with Dr. Nichter instantly he was so nice and answered my long list of questions. He speaks really calmly and doesn't rush you or try to talk you into anything or rush to get to the next patient. I decided to go with silicone gel smooth implants. I decided to make my appointment and got in 5 days later for surgery. I was relieved that he took Care Credit so I didn't have to worry about paying for them. Stephanie called the anesthesiologist for me in the office and got me an appt to meet with him. I went to my pre-op and met with Kirsten. She gave me all my prescriptions and gave me my bra to wear after surgery. She was also amazing and answered any last min questions I had. I met with the anesthesiologist the day before surgery and he also was the nicest guy. I have never in my life have been put under and in 2 minutes he made that anxiety go away. Never being put under before probably delayed me getting the surgery earlier. He explained everything to me for the next day and told me how to take my prescriptions. I was so ready for this. The next morning I showed up to surgery not one bit scared. Which is surprising for me since I stress and overthink about everything. They took me in a room to change and the anesthesiologist made sure I knew how to take my medications and his nurse was absolutely amazing getting me ready for surgery. She took me into the room for surgery and all I remember is getting on the table and I was out. When I woke up it felt like I took the best nap of my life. Woke up in zero pain and first words out of my mouth were do I have boobs? The procedure was only 40 minutes. I was wrapped up tight before I even woke up. I was ready to go home. Got in the car and at home I didn't feel like I needed a nap. Took a lot of walks as directed and just relaxed. I never needed nausea medicine and never took the pain meds. I took Tylenol and that's it. Dr, Nichter called me that evening to check on me and I felt great. The tightness after surgery is no big deal. Found a comfy place to sleep in bed and slept fine without having to get up for Tylenol or anything. I had my surgery on a Tuesday and was driving by Friday. I was a little nervous to move my arms but everyday got better. I took a shower 3 days after surgery and don't freak out how your boobs look. They didn't look horrible just swollen. Took my shower and wrapped myself back up. Every single day I looked better and better. A week later I had my post op and was given instructions on how to massage them. So easy and one of my boobs was a little sensitive than the other (never painful) and I just did the best I could with massage. I could also get out of the surgery bra and wear a sports bra. The Dr. said everything looked good and I already felt amazing. By a week later (2 weeks after surgery) I was able to massage no problem. I just had my 6 week appt. and I cant even tell you how amazing I feel. My boobs settled perfectly and I have no restrictions. I can sleep on my side and do anything I want. I have never been the girl that had confidence and was constantly embarrassed about my boobs and sometimes get mad over choosing the wrong bra to wear with a certain outfit. Right now I can wear anything I want. I want to wear low cut tops and not embarrassed to wear a bikini. I feel like I have so much confidence. I don't feel like people are looking at me going that girl got a boob job. Everyone I talk to cant believe how amazing and natural they look and feel. I have 440cc's and these are 100% the perfect size for my body. I do not look like one of those girls with basketballs attached to their chest. My boobs look absolutely natural and they don't feel a bit hard or fake. If you closed your eyes and felt them you would never know I got a breast augmentation. I still have scars that are fading fast and get the cream the Dr. recommends. It doesn't feel sticky and it does wonders on your scars. I saw Ella on my way out of the office and she knew may name and gave me a hug. Seriously I do not feel one bit uncomfortable in his office. Dr. Nichter takes really good care of his patients and must be really good to his employees. Every single one of them is so nice. This is the best money I have ever spent in my life. I actually get excited about my appointments.
