23 Year Old, Being an Athlete Left Me with a Barely A Cup and Low Self Esteem

Being a dedicated athlete has left me with little to no boobs. It was something I was always insecure about! My mom got her breast augmentation in her 30s so she was very supportive when I told her I wanted mine done when I was 18! Luckily we waited to schedule a consultation until I was 21 lol however, however I found out the FDA doesn't cover silicone breast implants until you are 22 or older. I knew I didn't want saline, so I waited until the following year and came back to figure out my size and schedule my surgery. I went with a 525cc silicone implant (the gummy bear one, I can't remember the medical name for it) The first few days post surgery were very painful for me. I went under the muscle, so my pectoral muscles were pretty mad at me. My mom didn't really warn me with how creepy they look in the beginning but my god, they were scary. Luckily they dropped and settled a few months later and I was very happy with them (still am!) it's been a learning experience with what clothes looks good on my and what types of shirts to avoid (high cut, loose.. no no) if a breast augmentation is something that will make you feel better about yourself, then I saw go for it! People tried to talk me out of it and say I didn't need it, but I knew what would make me happy and that's all that matters!
