To Botox, Or Not To Botox??

UPDATE!!

So,,,Im a couple weeks in from having Botox injections in my forehead. Nothing has changed since my last post. Look at my picture from my last post,,,,I have a couple of lines left on my forehead that did not smooth out. I was told that if that happens,,,to call back so that we can smooth out the rest. So,,,I have an appt on Feb 2 to smooth that out. I will update again then!! Totally loving what this stuff can do. Its amazing!!!

oh love! this makes me wanna get my Botox for my forehead. I hate my forehead wrinkles... do you know ow many units he gave you? You look great though! :-)
Hey girl. No,,,,,I don't know how many units he gave me. BUT,,,the results only lasted me a couple weeks. So,,,,I'm not sure I would pay for it in the future. :(

Oh I just read you say it didn’t last! Sorry to hear that. I recommend trying another place. For some reason I feel like depending on the talent of your injector it can last longer. I know that seems like it wouldn’t make sense but if they know the right places to inject it seems to work better for me. I’ve spent more at certain places for more botox and had it be less effective. Also I think if you do it every 4 months or so at first after a few times it lasts longer. Using botox Vs desport, botox seems to work better for me. But I’ve had people say the opposite. I’d say, don’t give up entirely!

6 Days!!

I'm almost a week post-Botox. I'm seeing a lot of smoothing of my forehead. I've been told it can take a little time to see results. I'm very happy so far. I do have a small bruise from the first injection. It looks like a green/blue bruise on my forehead. Oh well...that's what concealer is for!!!

Wow! What a transformation! I'm considering a little Botox but I really know nothing about it and need to research thoroughly. I have a 6 week post op BL/BA appointment coming up and your post has made me decide definitively that I'm going to inquire about it. I have a area of the forehead between the brows of lines and smokers lines around my mouth.

Progress??.....

So, I had my Botox injections yesterday. I was told it can take up to a week to see full results. I only had my forehead done. That's the only part that bugs me. It only hurt a little bit, and took like 30 seconds. The worse part is the sound the skin makes each time the needle enters the skin. Like a crunching type sound. Weird!!! Here is a photo today. I see some results. I'm hoping it will get better than this though.
