Hi, Y'all. Ive been deeply resisting writing this review. Let me start with the disclosure, that I did receive this complimentary product through the RealFriends program. :) OK,,,,,,,,,UGGGGH,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,IM ALLERGIC TO the BioCorneum. Im so upset about it. I really resisted that I was allergic to it. I tried it the first time at the beginning of June. Within a few hours,,,I was itching with hives. I KNOW its the chemical sunscreen. Sometimes I can get away with some chemical sunscreens,,,and other times, Im allergic. I do not know which chemical it is,,,as BioCorneum has 4 different ones, I believe. Sooo,,,I stopped using it for a few days. Let my skin clear, and being stubborn that I am, tried again. But, within a couple hours, I was having an allergic reaction again. I will say that I LOVE the texture of the product. It goes on very, very smooth. It dries quickly. Its very important to let it dry so that it doesnt stain your clothes. Im very disappointed that I wont be able to see what the product will do for me. I will be passing my samples on to another friend who will be recovering from surgery. I do hope that others love the texture of the product. I also hope others get to use it, and experience the amazing things that its suppose to be able to do with scars. Happy Healing, Everyone.

Oh no!! I'm so sorry! I was hoping you wouldn't be allergic! :( I really like it, but I wonder why they can't make some without the sunscreen?
Thank you. Im very disappointed. Im going to following others people, though. I am still curious to see how people like it, and how it works on them.
What a shame. I hadn't even heard of it. I wonder why they put sunscreen in. You have to keep scars out of the sun. I suppose not all scars are where ours are though. @FiveLittleMonkeys good idea.
Yes,,its a total bummer. It really made me sad that I couldnt use it. LOL!! Yes,,,I assume people who have scars on their faces,,,or hand, arms. legs.....all those areas would need sunscreen. Oh well!!! I will live. LOL. :)
Bummer, that stinks! The biocorneum has been working wonders on my tt and belly button scars. I am pretty sure that they make it without sunscreen as well if you're ever interested. :)
If they have it withough sunscreen, I will buy it. I will need to check that out. Thank You so much for your comment. Congrats on your scars healing well!! Thats great news!! :)
Great attitude xxxxx
How do you become part of the RealFriends Program?
Trying to find the answer to that too!!!

I think you are going to be pleased with this stuff! It has really helped me.
Ive been using it for about a week now. Its been kinda rough,,,,,I think I might be allergic. Somedays its fine...other days it makes me really itchy. I will write a thorough review of my experience soon. :)
Oh no!! I hope you're not allergic! I'm sensitive to different products sometimes too, but I've been using this for a couple of days and no reactions yet. Hope it stays that way!
Is this working for you? I haven't used mines yet but I will after my BA and lift.
I believe she passed it on to a friend b/c she ended up being allergic to it.
Oh
ORIGINAL POST

Hello everyone!! I had a breast lift with implants...

Hello everyone!! I had a breast lift with implants in January 2017. As with most people who have this procedure, I worry about the scars. Ive been treating my scars with Scar Therapy silicone sheets. Ive been given the opportunity to try BioCorneum. Ive heard so much great stuff about BioCorneum,,,,I'm super excited to try it. It is a silicone product, to help repair scars, but what also makes it special is that it has SPF 30 in it to protect scars from the sun. The sun, and scarring do NOT go hand in hand. So, Ive decided to start using BioCorneum. I will be using it during the day,,,and rotating my silicone sheeting at night. The very first thing I want to note about the product is that you only need A TINY BIT. Lots of people make the mistake of putting a bunch on,,,you don't need that. Just a very, very thin layer....then let that dry. If you do not let it dry....it will stain your clothes. Im excited to share my thoughts, and progress with this product!!! Happy Healing, Y'all!!!!I received this complimentary product through the RealFriends program

following! I've been thinking about buying some of this to use this summer before I have a scar revision in the fall, with the hopes that maybe I won't need a scar revisions.
Hi! I am wondering if I am able to put the biocorneum on let it dry and then put the silicone sheets on? I haven't seen a lot about how people use both just people saying they use both.
Hi!!! Yes...thats how I was trying to use it. Put a thin layer of Biocorneum on. Let it dry. Put on silicone!. Good luck!!!
