Been off and meaning to update ,,,,, so far so good. I see Dr tomorrow... final stitches under my breast have not completely dissolved. Dr will remove them tomorrow. yay!

Day 17 / treating a rash :(

So doctor gives you an anti-bacterial soap called “Hibiclens”.. Very common product used for pre- surgery cleansing. follow your doctor‘s instructions... wash is for pre-operation only. I am a sensitive Sally with my skin. I had some left over and I used it AFTER my surgery on my chest. Big mistake. I broke out in a rash hive looking things. I’m on a 5 day steroid pill! Boo hoo! Sucks & it’s uncomfortable. Dr. stated my sutures reacted. Rash on my abs. He recommended a Hydro Cortisone cream daily , Zyrtec and Benadryl at night on top of the steroid pill.

Looking good so far, there are always small bumps in the road to full recovery. Hope the steroids take care of the rash.

Exactly!! Trying to be cautious and bam... you are stuck with a bad rash! I’m better now :)

I researched many doctors for my breast lift. When I met Dr Nichter I knew that I wanted him to be my PS. His bedside manners are amazing and he is a compassionate dr. He keeps you informed of all your options. On top of that his staff and patient coordinator Caitlin are extremely professional and make you feel comfortable. We discussed fat transfer, lipo, Implants or BL. In the end with my comfort level and not wanting implant maintenance, I opted for BL. Super excited & so happy I did! Thanks Dr Nichter & team! I feel amazing again:)
